It is amazing to me that 90% of the dialouge is ad-libbed.
I listened to a podcast not long ago about this and LD said he does it because you can't fake your natural reaction when you hear other character's ad-libbed dialouge for the first time.
This was pretty obvious a few weeks ago during the episode about Richard Lewis's stripper gf. The scene in the deli, LD, Jeff, and Funkmeister were laughing hysterically about the stripper and her charity. Really funny scene.

Last night when Larry made the comment about Jeff's pillow he was laughing hysterically.

The fluffy pillow was funny.
You see alot of times when LD is talking to Leon, Larry cracks up but tries to play it off.

I think Larry has done a good job of keeping the legit funny characters around in Leon, Funkhouser, Jeff, Suzie, etc.

Easily the best episode of the season. Jeff's daughter being a little manipulative bitch like her mom and the palestinian chicken bitch's anti-semetic sex talk were both money. Larry David is a god damn genius

Great episode...only question was, how was Leon not brought into the debate on the chicken
Posted on 7/25/11 at 4:54 pm to Kingwood Tiger
Because the chicken wasn't fried.

Each week is better and better. I'm ready to watch last night's show again. It was great!
I guess it was his way to interject the idea of building a mosque next to ground zero into something funny.

No way I would pass up on the chick and her sister.

i'll say this. the whole "character assassin" stuff needs to die after this episode. continuing on with that theme would be stupid
I hope he continues to do it but not by the request of someone else. LD's best moments are when he bitches about something that is annoying but most people would just let slide...

This season has been pure genius. LOL.

This season has been the best since Season 3 (with the exception of the Seinfeld season), but I still feel like it's missing something. The run-of-the-mill dialogue throughout the show gets an A++++. But the very end - with the golf scene and then the protest scene is just too much, IMO.

I turned HBO back on this weekend just to catch Curb. Boy am I glad I did. That plus HBOGo paid for itself last Sunday alone.
