Covid Coded Movies Have Hit Theaters

Two movie trailers i just saw the other day are The Last House and the The End of Oak Street. My first thought other than "Cool, dinosaurs." Was that these scripts had to be developed in 20/21.
Locked in a house with just family, talking with handwritten signs put on windows, outside is dangerous, etc.
Those two are really obvious. Anyone seen any others coming out?

The stompy stompy then rarwr dino movies are a ridiculous trope I wish would end.
Yes, they were big, but we don't know if they even COULD roar. Plus, predators don't loudly announce themselves before they attack.

I really hate the trend of “____ coded”

The End of Oak Street
It's a Cloverfield movie, it has nothing to do with covid. Are you trying to sound stupid?

What? How is it a Cloverfiend movie? Isn't it about a street that gets time-jumped into dinosaur times?

He wasn't saying it has anything to do with Covid. He was making the point about movie ideas that were born from Covid times (i.e. being trapped inside your house). Has nothing to do with a plot point being about Covid.

Are you?

The 1979 motion picture "The Amityville Horror" fits that bill, bud.

Think maybe like large crocs & gators for your large predators.
Well, hell, Godzilla sure as hell roars. And he's basically just an overgrown dinosaur or iguana (if you believe that trash 1998 movie).

The irony here is pretty incredible.

I don’t consider that as Godzilla.

You should probably watch the Cloverfield Paradox to understand.
I have, and it was ridiculous that they tried to tie that into Cloverfield, And it also sucked big time too. But that's why I asked, because I wondered if it was some dumb shite like this:

Oak Street physically ends on Clover Park which is adjacent to Cloverfield Blvd

I think I'll take the fact that JJ Abrams said the movie has zero ties to Cloverfield over whatever that link says.
