She is playing him. They highlighted the scene where she was “hurt” and cried on demand. Though with this show, I don’t trust anything
I think one of two things will happen . Either they flip her and she is a double spy or she plays her husband and goes even deeper.

I agree, I think she is playing him. I’n Praying to god he sees through it. I like his character lol, but he will probably die.
This show is so damn good.

Spoilers below:
I don't know for sure - on one hand, she's been raised to be a soldier for the other side, and even killed her 'other' with her own hands. But on the other, she truly never had anything to call her own, and named her daughter after the boy she met in school. I guess we'll find out in coming episodes.
This past episode did a good job (IMO) of portraying Clare in a sympathetic light - more a victim of circumstance that was made into what she is now, a machine for the great cause.

Just caught up.
Yeah she’s playing him like a fiddle.

another solid episode last night.
two questions:
(SPOILER ALERT)
who did Baldwin kill? The sleeper or his other?
How did the dead kids in the hose die?

I was pissed at the end when Viserys named Howard as the mole.
Dead kids took cyanide pills I believe. They all had foam at their mouths and head lady passed them out to the others.
eta: JK Simmons tossed beads to me at Bacchus :)

How has this been so far? How many episodes left? I’m waiting to start it once it’s finished and I’m pumped.

Wow. Mind-blown. Had no idea that was him. He looks different without his golden crown.
Anybody else thing the Howards are going to switch places permanently? They are obviously better suited to live each other’s lives than their own.
Baldwin definitely killed the Alpha, preventing the Prime from taking over. If Baldwin is trying to thwart the attack, I’m wondering why she targeted Emily as well.

The scene between the two Howards was superb. JK doing work in that scene.
Emily was an ordered hit, no? The other guy she offed was her own doing I believe.
She reminds me of Natalie Portman.

I keep blanking on his name in the show, but I remember Viserys
His name is Harry Lloyd. Interesting fact: his great-great-great grandfather is Charles Dickens.

I was under the impression that she is still killing people from her hit list. Or she is killing the Alphas as payback for getting burned.

Such a great, intriguing show - never boring.

Why do you say this?
The only reason I would think it was the Alpha is because the guy seemed happy and his two cohorts were not present.
Baldwin has approached Claire multiple times asking to be able to complete the mission so she can get paid. In the episode where the long-haired surfer dude was telling her to smile and she turned her head to show him her scar, I think the was staking out the 3 Primes.
I think it would be easier to kill the prime and kill the targets than to kill the alpha so the prime could not take over. Which if the prime was going to take over right now she would being him a favor by getting rid of the alpha for him.
Will be interesting to find out either way. I'm not sure but I think what Baldwin is doing is helping the Alpha side. Or I thought that, when I thought she killed the prime.
I was blown away when Alpha Howard admitted to Prime that he knew about his Emily and Andre(sp?).
It's funny to me that it seems like Alpha Howard is becoming Prime and Prime is becoming Alpha.
I really enjoy this show. I kind of wish I had waited and binged it though. But, I think it will be even better the second watch.

I can't comment for sure on Baldwin's intentions, but I'm confident she killed Alpha Quiet Guy. Prime got scolded for exploring at night and taking the picture for the girls. No way is he casually running errands now.
My guess is she set it up so he would be quickly discovered, preventing Prime taking over the identity of someone everybody knew just got murdered.

I believe Baldwin killed the Alpha and is following through with her hit list. If it was the Prime, there would have been the other two Primes there, since they weren't supposed to leave the apartment. Baldwin may be killing the Alphas so that the Primes do not have to kill their other. She wants that 100k.
Also, Quayle is a little bitch.

I just binge watched this the last 2 days and I do not regret it. J.K. is putting on a masterful performance, it's amazing how well he can sell you on the fact that though the Howard's are technically the same "person", they are very much different characters. The show itself is pretty engaging, it draws you in and doesn't slow down one but until the episode is done. I love it, hope it lasts for a few seasons.
Aldrich (spl?) is too smart to fall for Quayle and his lie, IMHO. And I think Prime Emily doesn't make it last season 1.
