Counterpart - Starz
I watched the sneak-peek first episode last night - intriguing premise. Has some crime drama and sci-fi (a parallel universe?) ingredients . . . and the awesome JK Simmons.

I really wanted to watch more and can't wait until it comes out for good.

Thoughts?

Absolutely LOVED it. Best pilot I've seen a very long time. Only time will tell if the series can live up to the first episode.

Saw the pilot about a month ago on Xfinity On Demand. Can't wait for next week's episode. Hopefully Man in the High Castle will be back by the time S1 wraps on Counterpart.

I watched it last night. Excellent start for the show. Interesting premise and JK Simmons was outstanding as always. Looking forward to watching this story unfold

I was pretty excited for it, then fell asleep during it. I blamed the show at first but y'all liking it is convincing me to give it another shot.

re: Counterpart - Starz
A great start for a series. That pilot had me instantly ready for more after I watched it, and that's pretty rare for a new series with me. They are mixing two of my favorite genres: crime/mystery with science fiction(the many worlds theory, at that), and this premise has the potential to lead to a great new series.

I really hope they go into explaining some of the science behind what exactly happened to cause this split in their universe.

Starz has been doing some serious advertising for this series for the last month or so, so they defiiitely feel like they may have a great show on their hands.

I'm ready for episode 2. Hope it lives up to the pilot. If not, I'm gonna be very disappointed.

"You got a Mickey? A tranquilizer, Jesus, what are you guys housekeeping?"

Still interesting, but not quite as good as the pilot. The long haired Nadia is pretty damn hot. Short hair doesn't look very good on her though IMO.

Starz really wants me to watch this. It's in my suggestions every time I open the app.

I'm rebelling by not watching it.

I was in Vancouver in November and saw them filming a scene. Not sure what that means for how long the wait for new season will be.

I’ve seen the first two episodes and I’m already pretty confused. I’m waiting for one of y’all to do a spoilers thread so I can read it and maybe some new shite will come to light. I’m definitely in it till the end.

If it weren't for Dark's existence, Counterpart has the potential for being the most confusing show on television. That said, I love it. Particularly not knowing which side is ours.

re: Counterpart - Starz
so is this thing written like Pulp Fiction where we are going in reverse? the Emily/Howard meet up and events that followed have me just confused enough to think I know what is actually going on.

Show is pretty damn good though.
