So I tapped out when this aired after season four. Not for any reason in particular, I guess I just had other stuff to watch. So watching season five in it’s entirety was brand new to me, and other than the G.I. Joe episode, I really like the season. A lot of people hated it because of the loss of cast members obviously and then adding new characters. I thought it was fine.

So after watching the first episode of season six, I was like nope, nope, nope. No thank you, that’ll be it for me, I’m fine with going out after five. I don’t really care about cast turnover or anything like that, just the writing wasn’t sharp, the story was bad, and it felt like a chore to watch other than how the other episodes breezed by.

I don't know why, but that marriage just makes a lot of sense to me.

They are both in the rare class of being super attractive people with actual comedic timing and self awareness

At the same time, I hate that guy for stealing her away from me

After 1 episode? Seems like an odd choice. Season 6 is far superior to season 4 and IMO it’s better at least in stretches than the 2nd half of season 5.

Not sure I agree with that. There were some admittedly bad episodes in season 4, but the cast was so much better. Season 6 has its moments, but it’s overall the worst season, imo. The highs are worth watching, however, especially the tags. Season 6 felt like they just threw every crazy idea at the wall to see what would stick, especially in the end tags.

I couldn’t disagree more. There were so many things wrong with season 4. At the top of the list is Changnesia. It made the season almost unwatchable at times. Then the season 4 finale was awful. Without a doubt the worst episode of the series. They tried homages to mimic Dan Harmon’s style and they did a poor impression.

The season 6 finale was one of the best episodes.
Intro to recycled cinema was another great episode from season 6. While there’s not a single season 4 episode that I’d put in the top 10-15

They needed to stop with Chang after they regained the school, or at least gone in a much different path than Changnesia. I skip all of those episodes even when it's just background noise for me

Just finished season two with the double paintball episode. Question- is there a paintball episode in each season? It’s my first time through the show

Pretty sure there’s a paintball episode in season 5.
They don’t do full paintball episodes in seasons 3 or 4, but it’s referenced with a mini paintball thing in the season 4 finale.

The Season 4 finale was a paintball episode in Jeff's mind and there is one in season 6. Remember the elevator scene with the Dean? Season 5 had Hot Lava but no paintball.

It’s kinda funny...the entire premise of the show was the guy having his degree revoked so he had to start all over. I have that same horrible, terrible, soul crushing nightmare about once a week

Has anyone ever had a background character that annoys them to no end? I don't know why, but one of the guys working out in the S1E17 Physical Education episode irks me every single time

I just Finished the series rewatch. I actually hadn’t seen all of season 6.

I didn’t like the ending. They spend a good amount of time pointing out that Jeff wasn’t going to be Ok once everyone left and the. Tried at the very end to make it ok even though everyone left.

At its best this show was incredible. It doesn’t suck that it started dropping characters left and right at the end.

Finally finished it. I really thought the penultimate episode of Season 6 (Garrett wedding) was great, and classic. It's how I want to remember the characters.

Reading through this thread because I started binging this week, why all the hate for Pierce? I’m just starting s3 and I thought Pierce has been hilarious
