Hilarious. Basically a down the middle moderate comments on contemporary America. If you don’t like this I guess I don’t know what to tell you. Makes lots of good points about “serious” topics similar to Dave chapelle but does it in a more subdued way. I highly recommend it.

I remember when Bill Maher and Political Correct were said to be down the middle of contemporary America.

But what if I just don’t like Collin Quinn. I haven’t like that guy since Remote Control. Does that say something about my politics?

Maybe I worded it poorly. I meant the comments more than the delivery. He seems to take good shots at everything.

I was mostly kidding about what not like if Colin it says about my politics, but I really have never liked Colin Quinn as a performer of any kind. I can stand him in small bit roles with maybe a one liner or something funny done to him but not for entire show.

If he ever has a Remote Control reunion with Kari Wuhrer I may tune in just to see what she looks like now.

Agreed. I have never once thought he was remotely funny. He’s not even “bad comedian bombing” funny. He must have had pics of casting directors or booking agents to stay in show biz.

I heard him promoting this and he said something to the effect of “do you think the people of Hungary and Scotland are any more different than the people of New Jersey and Utah?” as though he was making some great point about how different we were.

It’s pretty obvious he’s banking on most Americans being completely oblivious towards anything related to Europe, because nobody who knows anything about Hungary or Scotland would say something that asinine.

So glad she was not bashful about nudity on screen.

Which is in short supply in today's climate.

No, he's a Brooklyn/NYC guy. He's best at working small clubs because of this and his delivery. He's earned his stripes in the stand-up circuit and didn't really compromise on who he was. This still gives him street cred among all the stand-ups who have and haven't made it.

I'm with you though. I really couldn't get into him but he's respected in the NYC comic circles.

They kind of were for a while, but it got abandoned. I guess they found that the formula works better when you lean to one side or the other.

Not a lot of appeal in moderate speech these days. Doesn't get people angry/confirm already existing presumptions and biases.
