Just finished watching

What a great season. Johnny with Miguel and there interactions is the best part of the show. Although Johnny with any of the kids is great. I was getting really worried he was going to mess things up with Miguel’s mom. I thought for sure he was getting tagged on Facebook.

Yes stuff is unrealistic. Someone brought up hawk breaking demitris arm. Well basically 90% of cobra kai should have been arrested at some point this season

Just glad they finally got Johnny and Daniel teamed up and Miguel and Sam back together

And yes the bully line at the pta meeting is an all time type of joke on any sitcom ever

The only real weakness is the whole Robbie storyline

It was OK but can't believe we've had back to back seasons without an all valley tournament.

I really don’t understand why this keeps being brought up as some unbelievable part of the season.

First off, the house fight was the last we see of the kids. Authorities could still be called.

But the biggest problem with the complaint is that IT’S DANIEL’S HOUSE.

Daniel has repeatedly refused to involve authorities throughout all three seasons of the show. Partly because he’s to blame for this whole thing spiraling out of control, partly because he doesn’t want his kids to get in trouble and thinks he can solve it all on his own, and now certainly because anymore negative press on these fights would destroy his dealership, the dojo, and might even land himself in jail.

Anytime something would happen Amanda would say we have to call the police!! and Daniel would immediately shut her down and say no no I know how to deal with Cobra Kai! It might seem absurd in the real world but it’s a foundation of the entire KK saga.


It simply makes no sense for Daniel to call the police. Especially sense he immediately took off for Cobra Kai to confront Kreese himself. They’ve all been taking matters into their own hands the entire series, not to mention back to the original Karate Kid and III when Daniel was getting jumped by groups of kids on multiple occasions and no one ever involved police.


I just can’t understand why everyone thinks it’s some plot hole now.


The school fight was different (I said all along it was actually a bad idea by the writers to do it there specifically because it brought authorities into the conflict), and in a public place like that it was impossible to avoid authorities being involved.

The mall fight is the one in the series where it was in a public enough place where there could have been consequences but ultimately there were no real injuries or damage in that fight and the 8 kids involved probably could have made it out before mall security rounded them all up, as it was actually fairly brief once they all met at the food court.

Also the earlier cafeteria fight with four kids, but I always assumed there was some detention/maybe suspension involved there that we just didn’t see because it didn’t amount to much and again there was no significant injuries or damage.

Did I mishear Daniel when he was in Okinawa? I thought he said he was now the same age that Miyagi was when they met. If Miyagi fought in WW2, he would have had to have been in his early 60s whey they met. If Daniel was in high school in '84, he could only be, at oldest, early 50s, right?

Yeah I think that might be a little meta joke as I think Machio is the same age now that Pat Morita was when they filmed KK.

And I think Miyagi fought in the Korean War, not WWII, so that might make the math closer.

Its the same school year, but I think they closed school for a couple of weeks in the aftermath. Repairs, installing metal detectors, etc.

So it’s kind of doing the first day over again.
