I'll be wearing my Diddly Squat T shirt and I'd expect anyone who recognizes it to be worth talking to.

What stands out the most in the series to me is how anyone can farm in the UK with all the regulatory bullshite that makes California look like the wild west.
I have also come to the conclusion that, without all the grants, farmers in the UK wouldn't be able to even make a living.
Its also insane to think that the farm is only 70 miles from London, yet they all treat it as if it's another country altogether. But, I guess in the UK, a 70-mile trip is about like a 400-mile trip in the US.

Absolutely brilliant television. Tons of seriously lol moments and one liners.

Watched episode 1 last night before going to bed, and loved it. So far everyone has told him his Lambo tractor is too big.
It's beastly looking for sure.

Same thing with New York
You leave Downtown new York, and majority of the state is woods, trees, normal Joes. The state is literally 2 different places.

That Lambo tractor is 270HP. I don't knew how familiar everyone is with farm equipment, but that's f-ing insane for a day-to-day tractor.
If you see some of the other Farm vids on Youtube, Clarkson has also said that it's very unreliable... As with most Italian made vehicles.

Last night I watched the "Sheeping" episode. Fantastically real and great humor. And that tractor is too much!

Near me lots of farms have one BIG 'un. Neighbors do. Some idiots one night drove across their farm and into the Holston River. Thought they had drowned the imaginary friends in the back seat. Come morning, a tow truck arrived to tow the car out of the river Tow truck got stuck. Neighbor revved up his big ole Massey Ferguson, and hitched it to the front of the tow truck, which was still hitched to the car in the river and pulled the tow truck and the river car across the fields to the nearest gravel road. (It made TV news in these parts.)

An interview with Kaleb Cooper and mention of the city folks this past weekend who clogged the roads around the farm.

My Diddly Squat T shirt just arrived in the boondocks by Royal Mail.
When I looked in the collar to see where it was made (printed in UK), I read
"And on that terrible disappointment, I got a T-shirt."
The tea towels are magnificent. The one with the tractor will never touch dishes, it gets a place on the wall alongside some bags of Popcorn Rice, a 25 lb. sack that held Camellia Red Beans and my apron with a painting by Maud Lewis.

It was decent, but what i think a lot of people should take away from it, is that farmers should be respected, and their lively hoods can teeter and totter into bankruptcy within seconds of 1 bad storm.
I hope others do gain more respect for farmers after watching it.
