Just watched it on the plane yesterday. Usually like to save the best Christmas time movies for closer to Christmas Day, but couldn’t resist.

It is remarkable how often we overlook the significance of small moments. This is one of the many experiences I wish I could share with him again.
A nice memory. I hope you still watch these in honor of you and your dad and the good times y’all had together. God bless us every one.

I hope you didn't watch it on cable, and saw the OG uncut version.

Depending on your age you will gravitate more towards certain characters. I completely empathize with Clark as he deals with his neighbors, in-laws, Cousin Eddie and children.

Especially me with the dad in A Christmas Story

Unfortunately I did, but I was able to find the OG version and watch it again this weekend.

Chevy Chase...a most underrated comedic actor.

It's the little nuanced ad lib things he always did that are the funniest. Like in this scene.

Same except I was 6, we went over the holidays no one else was in the theater

I sat in the first row, lady showing off the no panty line made little rumpshaker feel things

The tard who signed up for TD in Summer of 2024 is commenting about a thread that gets posted every year.

Reported to admin for not just being an alter but one of the worst non funny dumbasses on the site. Your shtick is beyond try hard tired.

Merry Christmas to everyone else. Great movie

The older I get the more I think about the logistics of that many people in my house.

It really is the best. Watched it so many times I've picked up on a lot of the subtleties which make it even better.

The shopping scene where Clark puts light bulbs in the basket and Eddie throws the dog food right on top on them you can hear them shatter lol.
