The truth is there. Whether you believe it or not is entirely your choice.

Basically that’s the story. The soviets were unable to build a certifiable safe nuclear power plant with contingency plans in place in case of a disaster because they couldn’t afford it and because their bureaucracy was incompetent.

Overall, pretty fantastic. Wish we had a few more episodes; but, great television for what it was.

Damn, I am emotionally wrecked.
That finale was amazing.

My favorite scene was with Scherbina and Legasov sitting on the bench.
Scherbina saying he died for nothing, and Legasov telling him he was the most important one.
It was beatiful.

If google translate is to be trusted, the episode title translates to "Everlasting Memory."

I’m glad they also set it straight on the 3 divers.

Crazy they didn’t succumb sooner.

And of course that dumb broad would get pregnant. Never mind it was against all odds the doctors gave her of ever getting pregnant. I’m pretty sure they would’ve also told her it isnt safe for a baby since the last one acted as a radioactive sponge and not safe for you, because...seizures.

She didn’t listen when her husband’s body was melting from the inside even though she was told to stay away - multiple times - because that’s just what normal burns do.

It’s ironic they gave themselves a pat on the back for adding an imaginary female character in Kohmyuk to balance the male dominance of the era. They gave her strength, determination, courage and knowledge.

The other female character....ehhh. She’ll be the female equivalent of Mr. Bean in a disaster.

That scene was amazing. I did a double take when Roose Bolton showed up as the prosecutor.

I knew I recognized that voice. Kind of like Kevin spacey but knew it couldn’t have been him.

I missed that. Is that in the sixth episode?
