Had two friends that went fishing yesterday in the Myrtle Grove area. When they came back to the launch, 4 of the Deadliest Catch captains were filming After the Catch at the dock. Said they were all really cool and they took a bunch of pictures with them.

Festus from Gunsmoke
Oscar Goldman from the Six Million Dollar Man

There. I'm spent like an old man forced to wear his testicle as a pendant.

Yea, I was real suprised to see he was in Macgruber. He's still fricking Doc Holliday and I'm a firm believer that The Saint is an under appreciated movie.

Scarlett Johansson has been around Lafayette recently. She apparently has family in Maurice and either she or Ryan Reynolds are filming a movie in New Orleans right now. They eat at Mazen Grill a lot (have a friend who is a waiter there) and they were both at Downtown Alive a few weeks ago

True story:

I have an acquaintance, let's say, that used to work at a very old, well-established eatery that has a drive through. This is in Tangi parish. Anyway, John Goodman comes through, and this acquaintance of mine goes to the drive through to take his order. Acquaintance is star struck and has a hard time not kinda staring. Eventually he gives the dude his order and change, and says, "Sorry, man, if I was staring too much. We don't get a lot of famous people here." Goodman looks at him and says, "I just thought you were a fa$$ot."

I was a bouncer at Coyote Ugly when it first opened in the french quarter. Opening night was the Thursday before Super Bowl Sunday when the Rams and Patriots played in the dome.

That show "Temptation Island" had rented out the place to watch the season finale so all of them were there. Next door they have a Tipitina's where they had the Madden player party, and all kind of people came to Coyote Ugly afterwards.

LL Cool J, Evander Holyfield, Jeff Garcia, Stuart Scott, Tom Jackson, Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen, Luis Gonzales, just all kinds of NFL players. Greatest night of work in my life. Got to meet quite a few people. Also the Man Show was still on and Corolla and Kimmel came in late.

I just remember thinking to myself, please God don't let Holyfield get in a fight in here because I'm not coming close to breaking that shite up.

I saw Gene Kelly and Minnie Pearl in the NO Airport (separately), and Dennis Hopper at Juban's. They are all dead now.

Scarlett Johanesson shows her tits in this movie.

She isn't even in it. They wrapped up filming last week. They were filming inside the old coke plant.

Samuel L Jackson, Kellan Lutz and Jin Kwon from Lost were all in it.

I've met Treat Williams at Lowe's in New Orleans, have come close to Kate Hudson at the NO Athletic Club, and have seen many others filming about the town.

It's really nothing to se a celebrity in Shreveport these days.

I sat next to Drew Brees from Memphis to Shreveport in April (the day after the draft).

Saw Ben Affleck on my in-law's street - some friens have seen Ben and Jen @ Betty Virginia Park.

Queen Latifa's house in Mad Money was filmed in my in-law's next door neighbor's house, so we got to meet her and Katie Holmes.

The dad from Modern Family was here just a dew weeks ago.

Saw Jessica Simpson and Andy Dick at Target about a year or two ago.

Ashton and Demi were here a few years ago when they shot The Guardian but I didn't see them. Had several friends who did.

Costner has also been here several times.

A co-worker met nick cage @ Kobe Japanese Resturant...said he looked cracked out and was being a dick to the staff.

Port city tiger, your in-laws must live on Unadilla. I lived there when I was living in Shreveport and they filmed mad money. I heard Jen and Ben Affleck live one street over and go to Betty Virginia almost every day. Agreed, tons of celebs in Shreveport. The only one I saw was Selma Blair, but several of my friends have run in to multiple celebs including Ashton Kutcher, Demi, Kevin Costner, Sam Jackson and Jude Law.

I met Kevin Debrow, lead singer for Quiet Riot (dead now). He was an a-hole. The rest of the band were awesome guys. Had beers with us at Top Gun in Monroe.

I've also met Costner, who was extremely nice.

My ex went to TCU with Chris Klein, who'd already been in several movies, including American Pie. She said he was nice, but very shy.

A friend of mine lives down the road from Sandra Bullock. He said she's a bitch, which is the first time I've ever heard ANYONE say that about her. But I trust him because he likes everyone and he never talks bad about anything.

Two more I forgot about.

The dude who plays the Dad in That 70's Show. I was eating at
Cafe Negril on Frenchman, looks at the band at the front of the place and he was walking down the street, past the window stopped came back and looked in the window to see what was going on inside then kept going. My buddy saw him on the street and spoke with him about thirty minutes later.

Also saw Kid Rock out side the Fox Theater, before it burned down, shooting a video on the front steps about 2 am. My date asked me to stop the car and roll down the window, then at the top her lungs she screamed "Kid Rock you suck!" Wasn't the best date in the world, but looking back now its kind of funny.

Although he's far from being a name recognized celebrity I once had dinner with Dennis Lipscomb, among others, in Hammond when he was filming In the Heat of the Night. I was still in high school but the guy came across as extremely cool. Lipscomb has been in dozens of films and seems to have settled into a career doing national commercials.

I worked on that Patrick Dempsey movie. He is here, also I believe Ashley Judd and Mehki Phifer.
