I don't know. You're the one complaining about it. You tell us.

Making a comment on the movie trailer on the movie/tv board =/= complaining. You either make a comment in favor or against or critique.

Are all criticisms or questions "complaints" to you?

I think my criticism was justified and others echoed the same sentiment. Dont need you to evaluate whether my comment is valid. I didnt ask you to begin with anyways. You chose to engage my comment.

quote:

No. That's not even close to anything I've said.

Which is why I asked. I asked because you provided no opinion. I was curious what you actually thought outside of simply picking my comment out at random to contradict.

quote:

Interesting example though, considering Ruffalo isn't too far off from that...

When hes in the hulk form? What marvel movie are you watching? The voice changes completely from hulk to banner for obvious reasons because the voice matters depending on which form is being shown.

quote:

Not to the detail it apparently matters to you, no.

What detail? it's pretty goddam simple. Her voice sounds weird in the trailer compared to what visuals are being provided. Doesn't match up for me, I dont have to justify my own personal opinion to you.

quote:

You need to be capable of accepting that not everyone's Captain Marvel matches your Captain Marvel.

I'm not trying to match up any personal visions of captain marvel. I'm thinking about what sounds realistic.

If an Arnold Schwarzenegger like character was kicking a bunch of arse and sounded like Peewee Herman then it would obviously be a weird and possibly offputting aspect of the movie.

What the voice sounds like matters and obviously that can be subjective.

It's like youre pissed off I didnt see the trailer exactly like you did.

Lot of odd responses to this trailer. I think it looks like any other Marvel movie with a little less cheese. Will be seeing it for sure.

Plus you know inviting a part Kree to regularly hang out on earth is going to attract some unwanted cosmic attention. All the OG avengers except thor are earth based and Thor’s there because the baddie was his bro in the first thor and avengers 1

The working theory is Mar-Vell is Danvers father, which would clean up her origin a little.

Not my favorite idea, but it’s all about execution, look at Suicide Sqaud. Great trailer, decent concept, god awful movie.

One thing I want to see in a Marvel film before it's too late is Nick Fury walking into a hospital and opening the door to a room and you head a rough but familiar gravelly voice saying, "you look tense boy...rough day at work?"

The response would be, "well Dad, things have changed a bit since you were in charge." and the camera pans out to reveal an eyepatched Clint Eastwood as Nicholas Fury Sr.

Where the hell has she been since Thanos has been terrorizing the galaxy looking for the Infinity Stones? Maybe she left Earth for whatever reason but considering many of the Marvel movies have shown how far Thanos’s influence goes, you’d think she - with her ultimate powers - would have showed up somewhere a while back.

Maybe, just maybe they’ll explain this in the movie.

Clint Eastwood is an odd choice to play Sam Jackson's dad.

That isn't what makes it complaining. Look at your post FFS.

All that because you're "not complaining." GTFO.

You do you. I'm going to make fun of people who deserve it. You don't have melt because it happened to be you this time.

Very meh trailer. If you were already planning to see it (I am) it did nothing to dissuade that. If you had no interest in seeing it, that trailer wasn't going to persuade you.

They better not make her the most powerful character in that universe. That's Thor's mantle now. Ideally she'd be powered below Hulk, but Thor deserves to be the bellcow of the MCU. And if they do decide to kill Thanos, it better be Thor delivering that final blow.

Why is he an odd choice?

The prime Marvel Universe (616) has established that the Samuel L. Jackson version of Nick Fury is Marcus Johnson/Nicholas Fury Jr..

The original Nick Fury is a grizzled old white dude.

Yea, after looking up her credits I know who she is now and recognize her from several roles. However, that kinda worries me that she doesn't really have the appeal to pull this movie off. After watching the Ragnarok Trailer I was worried and that movie was fricking fantastic so hopefully this movie turns out good.
