Holland > Garfield to be sure

I think it's hard to say for sure yet. But what I do know is that I'm excited for the Spider-Man movie. Marisa Tomei and RDJ have great chemistry. Then you have the Tony Stark mentor aspect and I think it's a recipe for a really good movie. And of course Holland has been great from what we've seen.
I know a lot of people are not cool with RDJ being a part of the Spider-Man movie in any kind of significant role. Me personally, I hope he is. I think there is some great potential with that set up in CW. Can't fricking wait.

Rewatching Winter Soldier...the scene in Sam's apartment between Natasha and Steve when she asked if he would trust her to save his life...
What a damned payoff in CW!

Just saw a tv spot during the Spurs/thunder game that showed ant-man turning giant. That's a bummer for anybody that couldn't catch it opening weekend.
It wasn't a huge surprise to see it but it was still nice to see it for the first time while catching it on the big screen.

Thought about it some today and i don't get why people are complaining about the age of Aunt May. If Peter is 16, than that would his parents were in their 40s to early 50s. His aunt is his dad's sister so it would be reasonable to assume that she would be similar aged.
The comics have typically treated May and Ben as grandparents rather than aunt and uncle but if we are going by actual her being his aunt than the age is very reasonable.

I always thought Aunt May was his Great Aunt.

She was originally Peter`s Dad`s Aunt.

I saw that last night and thought the same thing. GiAntman didn't need to be revealed at all. That was shitty. I feel the same way about the two on one fight at the end. You knew it was coming, so that kumbaya moment near the end was never destined to last.
I wish the trailers would stop revealing plot points.

I wish they'd hurry up and get it going with Thanos. Seems like they've just been twiddling their thumbs with him. I really liked Civil War, but feel like the big picture storyline is just treading water.

Just saw it. I thought it was amazing. I need to watch Ultron and Winter Sodier again though because I feel like I've missed some stuff.
I thought one of the team was going to bite it for sure.
The only real "complaint" I've heard is that this wasn't a Cpt America movie, it was Avengers 2.5. And while I agree with that, it doesn't detract from the movie and make it any less awesome.
I liked that Black Widow eventually helped Cap. I was surprised she was on Stark's side and not Rogers' in the poster.
Loved it. I wasn't in love with the first Capt America and definitely not Ultron. But these last two Cap movies have been incredible.

I liked it. Not as solid as Winter Soldier, mainly due to Zemo's trite reasoning behind his plan. Bruhl is a great actor and he just felt wasted. The big reveal at the end with Bucky and Cap's admission that he knew about the assassination felt tacked on - there's really now way Stark wouldn't have known this after the events of WS.

Just saw it a second time, and it was even better. There's a lot of little action sequences you might miss the first time through. Also, I found that the entire thing flowed very logically from point A to point B. For instance, I missed the first time when Zemo called the maid to order breakfast. He knew this would blow his cover and bring the Avengers to Siberia.
Just a fantastically crafted movie. RDJ's "He killed my mom" gave me chills.

Just got out too. It was damn good. I wish Crossbones would have lasted longer but overall it was damn good. Loved the comic and I'm surprise there wasn't any more collateral damage. It will be interesting to see where the go from here. Cap's letter at the end really hit home. Dude is THE Avenger...so much to process.

I thought it was ok. I think it is being praised a little too much. Guardians of the Galaxy was way better

I'm with everyone that Zemo was a problem. However, for a different reason. I don't think he was wasted - He won and he lived how can he be a waste?, His plan wasn't THAT convoluted. However......he wasn't nearly as dangerous as he should be, and he just didn't have the pure panache of the comic book Zemo. These are different properties, but I wanted a more deadly Zemo. But he wasn't the real or "main villain." He was more of a catalyst.
i have no comic POV so my bias is different than your bias, but i thought it worked
an insidious worm gnawing at the group is more effective than a full frontal assault on the group
what i think fails is the "iron man" argument. they can get some blame for AOU b/c stark created vision indirectly, but when they went through the examples i rolled my eyes. yeah let's blame the avengers for new york, when an inter-dimensional god showed up with aliens attacking the city. all their fault (and as vision would argue, their creation). or DC? a secret nazi organization (formed in WWII) within the US government is certainly the avenger's fault
the big issue is AOU sucked and did a bad job of constructing this conflict. they all just dropped the ball. the NY/DC examples should be the counter-points to the conflict in AOU. or, more specifically, AOU should be the counter-point to NY/DC
we kind of just have to accept AOU failed and imagine our own scenarios in how it fits into this universe

I was full Team Stark at that point. I would've lost my shite too.

Stark's a punk. Always has been.
The Avengers are Cap's team. Stark just doesn't know it.
