that line probably sounded better in his head.

Not only is he trying to be cool by giving it a rotten score but he doesn't know how to caution with spoilers either. Sounds like a real winner.

I'm not going to read his review because I hate people who spoil these movies with no warning, especially when their readers have had no chance to see the movie, but this line is my third biggest issue with Marvel movies behind the lack of great (hell even good) villains and the overreliance on humor.
Thor's been around for years and the general public has no reaction or interest in the fact that a damn Norse God from another plane of existence has chilled out on our planet. And we're ignoring the fact that he is the reason why Loki brought an alien army into New York.
Actually that brings me to a question for the folks who have seen the movie: Does it feel to you like they finally address how much impact their actions have had on the world? I don't mean just mention oh yeah we've had an impact on the world, I mean actually show it? Do they show how the world has responded to them?

I understand that some critics will see this movie and legitimately think it's below average, but his review seems like such a far cry from the others, it's hard to believe this wasn't manufactured.

dont read his review its got some spoilers
Now often times, a negative review to a an extremely popular movie is reasonable in its criticism BUT occasionally somebody posts an especially negative review. This may be an instance of that given the poor attempt at humor and the spoilers.

Half of Batman vs Superman's negative reviews were from outlets I've never even heard of before. Negative reviews of big anticipated movies = clickbait.

You guys do realize that his won't be the only negative review, don't you?
There will be others.
There will be others.

I remember when people were livid when TDKR was getting negative reviews before anyone had seen it and those were justifiable from a certain point of view. No superhero movie has ever or probably ever will get only positive reviews.

If all you do in life is review movies for a living you can't very well just like what everybody else likes, can you?

Ah so it's a conspiracy!

Don't start that shite back up (not just you Freaux, but everyone that turned pages of this thread into a discussion of that movie).

But I would prefer that you remind us about how Deadpool's February release date indicates it's for commercial and critical failure.

Haven't seen it yet, but I think the entire premise is the government trying to keep the heroes in check due to the destruction that's come about since their arrival. Not all the Avengers are on the same page with that thus Civil War.
BvS just addressed that issue and one of the big complaints of Mos...look how that turned out. At the end of the day, it is a comic book movie not Casablanca. It's supposed to be fun and action packed. I would think after an alien or robot invasion, the populace should be greatful they were there to prevent further destruction/the apocalypse.

Very indirectly. Loki is jealous of him yes, but the reason he had the alien army was bc Thanos let him. That had nothing to do with Thor.

No I'm just saying, it's hard for me to take a review seriously (positive or negative) when I've literally never heard of your outlet before. Then again, the count or score of these reviews mean jackshit to me.

Well moreso Odin then Thor, but Odin hasn't been to Earth in the last thousand years so we can't hold him accountable if he's never on planet to atone for his actions.

Perhaps Marvel did not intend it to come off this way but I've always thought Loki attacking Earth was a classic Xanatos gambit.
The one thing about Loki that everyone can agree on is that he wants to rule Asgard. He needed a way to get back into Asgard but he couldn't just show up on the doorstep after everything he pulled in in the first Thor flick.
Enter Thanos. Loki goes to him and requests an army. In exchange, he will give Thanos some crap that's in Asgard's vault. What is it? Loki don't care. He just wants to rule.
Invading the planet where Thor's boo hangs is a pretty good way to get what he wants. If he conquers Earth, that's great. He now rules a planet that he could use to force Thor to abdicate the throne. If he loses? Well then he just gets taken back to Asgard where he can plot his eventual coup d'etat.
