It simply comes down to them wanting to consume their make believe product and no one should be allowed to tell them why its inferior to the stuff which came out just a few years ago. This isn't even 'back in MY day' level shite, but practically just last WEEK!
Wrath of Khan, Terminator, Alien...so much better than current day trash.

Again, i asked you to cite an example. You typed out 2 shows, but no context.
It doesn't need context. It's that common of a phrase and used in tons of media formats.

WHY do YOU think they're the same or similar? And FFS, don't say "look it up" - these are YOUR claims.
Otherwise, you have nothing.
You're the one changing the argument. You asked what movies, I gave examples, then you asked for context, which doesn't matter.
Its a common phrase. This simple fact escapes your logic apparently.

And 2003 LSU football team and 2006 LSU basketball teams were better than this years' teams... doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch this years games rather than going back and rewatching those replays

There are different reasons for it, I won’t throw them all in the same box the way they do and if they enjoy it that’s fine. The disconnect is when someone doesn’t share that view and takes the trouble to explain why to them and they’re met with attacks and slurs then those people label the ones they’re attacking bad. Thats a problem and it’s 100% to do with them.

I see the confusion.
it's not a PHRASE. It's a scene.

There's zero reason to DV my correct comment. That's what is being discussed. Not just 'words', but the setting of a hero facing off with a villain, behind bars, talking about 'OTHERS' coming ...
Be they from a multiverse or outer space.
I could NOT have been more clear and forthcoming. FFS.

That's a really poor analogy.
Fine to compare 2003 LSU to 2019, but to analogize college sports to scripted movies?

But they happened so just because you claim you didn’t witness it doesn’t make it true.
We didn’t believe those things did happen. It’s a crazy thing when one goes to see a movie without wanting to hate it beforehand.

So you’re telling me they don’t have Hulk pills and they didn’t ask or suggest that Steve may not have deserved to be Cap the way Sam does because Sam has more in common with a normal person?

What a shocker, SEK and MadKing are still tarding up this thread.

But again YOU don't watch the content. You don't discuss your OPINIONS you only share others YouTube videos.
Posted on 2/16/25 at 3:31 pm to Napoleon
Broski and Corinth didn’t watch. Where’s your dismissals of their opinions? Oh that’s right, they align with you so your standards are all BS.

You're a broken record, and no matter how many times you say this shite, it won't make your case.
I've seen 25 MCU movies. Several i've seen many times over. Probably more than most here have. I know the source of these characters, as shown on screen. And yes, I've seen the synopsis of story break downs of most other movies ON YOUTUBE.
I know. Doesn't matter how angry or upset that makes you, I know.
Deal with it.

He using the same premise he’s attacking you for. He doesn’t watch those videos, he has no idea what they say yet he’s using them to dismiss you while accusing you of doing the same thing. From what I’ve read his opinion of the movie align an almost exactly with Schad who’s in the FNT crew but again he doesn’t know that.

Pills that had gamma radiation in them and over time changed Ross into a hulk? Yes. Honestly makes more sense than blood getting in a drink or sprayed on someone like other hulk monsters were shown in the mcu.
Steve Rogers was not talked about in any negative way. Steve's arc ended great. He went back and lived the life he gave up on and gave the mantle to his friend. Now i think Bucky makes more sense as the next cap then as a congressman. I do think being a former Soviet spy that's 110 years old may make it hard to become a congressman.

Yep. But unlike them, I have a deep background knowledge of what's happened with the plots and characters in the MCU. These idiots have NO knowledge of who these youtubers are, what they've posted, what their backgrounds in the real world, the decades old experience they have ... it's all lost on them.
Posted on 2/16/25 at 3:52 pm to SouthEasternKaiju
Or. It's irrelevant. The creds of youtubers means nothing. Nothing.
We discuss movies and tv shows here. Not just blindly share the opinons of others.
Which is all you do.

Hulk is unique for a reason, reducing him to a pill is diminishing the character. You can spin that however you want but it’s wrong. Steve was absolutely questioned and Sam legitimized for a completely false reason. Steve was much more common than Sam but embodied what the scientist wanted Cap to be which is why he was chosen so their premise that his Superman abilities made him a less relatable Cap than Sam was utter nonsense and a retcon attempt on their own movie.

Didn’t make me feel like Hulk was diminished in any way.

No. It wasn’t a knock on Steve at all. That’s a parallel you’ve chosen to make.
Posted on 2/16/25 at 3:56 pm to SouthEasternKaiju
Which is why I keep saying that if they enjoyed it that’s completely fine. Attacking people as you say with more knowledge of the characters for not liking the constant dilution and retconning of those characters simply because your opinion doesn’t align with theirs is what derails the threads. They’re disingenuous and hypocritical

So now it does exist when before it didn’t? Thanks for finally admitting I was correct.
