Rubicon pissed me off so bad. Everyone has already said my pics: Mindhunter, Carnival, Detroiters etc.
I would add: Get a Life (Chris Elliot is hilarious), Almost Human (remember the brit series about monster roommates back when the BBC was king?), Crime Story (loaded cast non-stop action), Party Down (better than Glee and Parks and Rec the shows that went too long and stole their actors).

Deadwood. There was a fire and a major flood that happened in the real town that would've made for some good storytelling. Like Trixie making good on her promise to Dan to burn the whole thing down if things went sideways.
Star Trek: Enterprise. Didn't know the show even existed until about 5 years ago. Scott Bakula was an amazing captain. The series finale alone warrants another season just to right that wrong. And it's head and shoulders better than anything Star Trek has made post 2009.
