I do think they lost the ball a bit with Xander. He was always the most human, and it was the fact he was willing to fight demons and the like with no special abilities so courageous. I know a lot had to do with off the set problems, but they really gutted his character in the last 2 seasons, and his break up with Anya just seemed mean (and totally out of character). Now, this did allow for the rise of Andrew as comic relief, which was outstanding. But I always get miffed about the decline of Xander's character.

I really need to re watch this series. This was a great show and a huge part of my teenage years. I really had a huge crush on Cordelia and Buffy, it was so bad I couldn't choose between them.

Tonight would be a good night to watch Fear Itself (S4E4). It starts slow, but the second half makes up for it. Love the ending.
