There's not a single woman I've known in my life who got old...and gained weight like that unless they were already heavy in their younger years.
Just because you get old doesn't mean you get fat...the two aren't synonymous with each other. I don't recall her every being remotely heavy. I mean she wasn't Kirstie Alley or Oprah who would balloon up and down.

I'm trying to identify that purse. Letting yourself go is one thing. That happens if you just don't care. But usually people who are used to nice things continue to like nice things. There is not a single nice thing there.

Kind of strange when you look at Henry Fonda in On Golden Pond, Peter in the 2010's still acting on TV, and Jane Fonda today. Nothing about her genetics suggests she should remotely look like this.

The doubters in here have obviously never been to a 40th or 50th class reunion. Rail thin hot girls from high school show up and are obese. And yes, girls that were hot into their 30's can age and gain a lot of weight before they're 60.

She also stopped acting, became a full-time mother, and therefore had no one left to impress but her husband - who clearly doesn't have a problem with this. This is what happens to a vast majority of people who enter their 50s/60s these days. There's nothing wrong. It's just normal.

The last picture of her in public was taken in 2009, and she looks similar to her working career weight. So, if the injury hadn't debilitated her for six years, I find it hard to believe it had that much of an effect later. Like I said, the family has good genetics, also.

Rheumatoid Arthritis got so bad back in the 90's she was actually wheelchair bound and in great pain. She turned to alcohol to ease the pain and turned into a raging drunk at times, often making it difficult for people to want to be around her.
Add to that the fact she is now 67 with serious health issues and there you have it.
