Fraser was also battling back issues from old on set injuries if I recall correctly. This contributed to the weight gain.

Don’t see how this works. Isn’t Brendan still in really bad shape from all those years ago where his back and shite was fricked up and he needed a lot of surgeries?

Exactly. So I don’t see how he’s going to be able to physically do it this time. I’m sure the actor who will play his son will do some heavy lifting on the action but people will want to see Fraser kicking arse again. Idk if he can physically do it. Sure, he’s in a lot better shape now and has lost weight but he still did go through a shitload of surgeries on his back and spine I’m pretty sure.
