I think the only significance is that Skyler doesn't want to be associated with the White name anymore.

I'm guessingr the machine gun will be used in an unconventional way. Maybe a plant to frame someone.

Dumb side Q: why did Saul still feel the need to go on the lam?

What about the ricin being for Ted? I know he has not been mentioned but he still is a loose end unless I missed something.

That the blue meth had resurfaced? I didn't hear it, but I only watched it once. I thought they just said the meth stretched across the country and into Europe.

You may want to rethink that.

That's all they said. Never said it was being made again.

And I didn't hear that part either, although others have mentioned it.

In any event, Walt read stacks of newspapers during his seclusion. The interview, close behind the talk with Flynn, may have prompted him to act on information he already had, i.e. Andrea dead, blue meth on the street again, etc.

So the question was there are continued reports of the blue meth being sold and do you think Walter White is still out there.

I guess Walt could infer that the nazis are making the blue meth from that question.

1. It's publicly known he was Walt's attorney.

2. He can't find Huell and thinks he might talk.

Perhaps - maybe he's requested help and that's one of the things he was supposed to acquire and bring. Or,

Something like that fits Walt's MO. Certainly he does not have military training or experience with a crew-served weapon. The M-60 itself weighs about 25, 26 pounds dry, and 1000 rounds of ammo for it would weigh 70 pounds.

He did get better with his LCR, but, let's face it, going to war is not exactly in Walt's wheelhouse - from a trigger pulling standpoint. Either it will be used in an unconventional way (as you suggest) or it is for a team he's assembled.

You should too. They didn't ever say it was being made.

He knows they're making it. He knows they are using Jesse to make it. He knows Lydia is involved due to the Europe reference.

My prediction. Walt poisons Lydia, wrecks shop on the nazis, frees Jesse (his only remaining "family"). Walt offers Jesse and Brock the money if he'll find some way to get half to Walt's family. Walt has a blood hacking exhaustion induced collapse in the room with all the barrels. Jesse says frick you and leaves him to die with all his money (or calls in DEA to seize it), reinforcing the worthlessness of all of Walts endeavors.

Plausible and fitting. I have some questions about the money - obviously Jack is in charge of it (Todd doesn't care - he wants to be the next Gus/Walt), and the crew didn't seriously question his authority to give Walt about $11 million - so, he certainly bonused out the crew for about $1 million each - to keep them happy. But that would still leave about 60 to 65 million, after expenses, from Walt's stash alone, in Jack's custody. They've had at least a couple of cooks with the remaining methylmine - at roughly $2 million a batch - if Lydia is paying the same for Todd/Jesse's blue batches - $40,000 a pound. And maybe they're up to 3 or 4 batches a week, heck, there could be more money in the stash than they took from Walt. I'm not sure how much they could make with the remaining precursor.

Back to your ending scenario, though, - What if Walt sincerely apologizes for everything - Jane, Brock, the whole thing, admits he was wrong, then dies in front of Jesse after a coughing fit or heart attack (or perhaps shoots himself)?

What does Jesse do, then, if Walt's last request was for Jesse to take half the money, raise Brock, establish a recovery center with Jane's name on it, and get the other half to Walt's family, somehow?

Does he still walk away from $60 million at that point?

So how does Walt track down the Nazis? Any call to Todd would tip off Jack. I feel like he will have to somehow find Lydia and use her to get to them.
