Yep. He was an idiot for going rogue and going to a desolate desert to make e arrest. You always call for backup. He wanted to do it by himself as Gomez said, " He's all yours."

As he slapped the cuffs on and waved to him in the car just like he said he wanted to in Season 4 Episode 4.

Right after the conversation when Walt says "You got me." They start talking about French Connection and Popeye Doyle. And Hank says he wants to slap the cuffs on him and wave at him, then mimics the wave. Walt goes "if I remember correct, he never actually catches the bad guy. And Hank replies, "Yeah me and ole Popeye, huh. A day late and a dollar short."

He does the same wave to Walt when he's on the phone with Marie. They basically told us how the arc would end over a season ago. Silly us.

Vince put hints throughout the whole series foreshadowing future events

I've never seen a show do it as good as BB.

One thing I was curious about...that location obviously was important to Walt.

Why the GPS coordinates? I guess in case he dies he can give it to Skylar?

Besides being a subtle plot device, yeah, I would guess it would be for Skylar to figure out if Walt were to die or go to jail.

But evidently Walt needs them to find the location because he had the lottery ticket with him on the way to the desert.

I just don't think they really explained that well. If they leave out the part where it was the place they first cooked, it would make more sense. That aspect throws the rest off in my opinion.

So that helped

I didn't think he was going to kill them. Probably get himself killed. But yeah, I had forgotten about the Salamanca kid. In any case, I have always felt like Jesse's killings were far more justified than the shite Walt's pulled, but you're right. He has killed some folk.

Hank is going to live, but Gomez will die. Then Hank will get fired from the DEA because his boss already told him not to work on the Heisenberg case anymore. Then he won't be able to bust Walt.

LOL wut? Hank isn't just going to walk away from this with Gomie's death. If Gomie goes, Hank goes. If Hank comes back in, it's not like he can pretend Gomie's death didn't happen. So he'll tell them. I doubt they'll give a shite about him not following orders if some NNs killed his partner while he was arresting Heisenberg. If anything, Hank getting away means Walt is proper fricked.

I don't believe it was the exact spot, but it was relatively close to it. It's a big fricking desert out there.

If Hank lives, there would be no flash forward with Walt and the M60.

Next episode, Hank is going to have to explain to Jack why he no longer wants Jesse. I think he'll have to agree to one last cook in order for them to let him go. Maybe the nazis keep Jesse as prisoner to cook for them.

you mean walt?

im with you. jesse ends up being forced to cook for the nazis and walt goes into hiding.

after all of the methylamine is used up down the road, they have no more need for jesse and kill him. Walt finds out and kills them all. would parallel gus' partner being killed and gus' revenge mission against the cartel

If he disobeyed direct orders and got his partner killed, then yeah, they would give a shite. And Hank still has no evidence on Walt, if he was recording the phone conversation between Jesse and Walt then the Nazis can just destroy the recording.

I'd be very disappointed if Hank got out alive.

I dunno, when I watched the episode last night I was hoping he would get sniped in the face. But if he lives and still doesn't get to take down Walt, that would crush him too. Might be worse than death, knowing he came so close but still let Heisenberg get away.

Hank's 100% done.

It's part of the price Walt pays for working with Jack and his crew. Their blood letting isn't done, and trying to get back at them is the only thing Walt will have left.
