Watched the first three episodes this weekend. Like it, but wasn't gripped by it at first. But I didn't fret after seeing so many say it picks up after the first couple episodes.
Interested to see where it goes and what happens. I plan on continuing tonight if I can.

The direction they took characters was so stupid (Flint, Rackham, Max, Billy) I fricking hated Max.
Vane was fantastic. They need way more of him. Flint was good until he took the wrong direction at the fork in the road. and Black Beard was great.

I binged the series a couple of years ago based on posters on here raving about it. I went into it blind, and blew through the series.
Luckily I started as the final season was airing, but caught up a couple of days before the last episode. It was hard waiting 2 or 3 days for that last episode. I loved the series so much, I don’t know if I could have handled waiting months between seasons.

Season 2 finale is probably my favorite episode of any TV show I've watched. I could watch just that episode over and over again. I think Black Sails is probably about my all time favorite show.

Ive already said it in here but the final scene in the series finale is just so freaking perfect. im the only one saying that so im probably overrating it but I just remember watching it and it sticking with me for a couple days.

So the closest I've come to knowing someone who is kinda-sorta famous is that my fencing coach was one of the principle consultants for this series. Bennerson (Ben) Little. He's got several damn good books on piracy if you're in to that kind of thing.
