RT was never great and you had wackos like Armond White that hated everything (he does have some good recent this movie sucks reviews that most people can agree with - TLJ, The Post, etc. but now EVERYBODY LOVES EVERYTHING.
Or at least they refuse to give it a Rotten score. Either the bar is set real low, nobody is really critical (if they had a decent enough time it's Fresh) or they are scared about being the few negative-Nancys on that website.
But it's annoying seeing 98% for every movie that comes out now which isn't total dogshite.

Why are Time reviews always the most slanted?
Black Panther—has a social conscience, speaking out plainly about the moral obligations of powerful countries, from sheltering refugees to sharing technology and science to dividing wealth equitably.
So powerful countries have a moral obligation to turn into socialistic shite-holes once they become powerful?
Black Panther is a modern expansion of that idea, a picture for everyone that stresses the necessary meaning of the word everyone.
Black Panther is set largely in Wakanda, with a detour to South Korea. Still, there’s no shaking the feeling that this is what America looks like when it’s allowed to be its truest, freest self. That’s a superhero challenge if ever there was one.
What? When America was it's freest self with very little laws, zero regulation and pure Capitalism...we had slaves!
I doubt that author would love back to our truest selves.
