I'm trying not to really read this thread and only quickly skim.
For those that have started watching, how does it stack up to other black mirror? Does it have that classic "feel" like early BM that was so outstanding? Or is it more of the same as the last couple seasons which were major declines in quality?

Beyond the sea was good, but no. It doesn't have that original feel to it so far.
Still waiting for that white Christmas/shut up and dance/hang the dj 10/10 episode.

The mazey day episode was shite. Trying to think they're clever with the metaphor, but it's so on the nose that it's almost insulting to the viewer.

Watched the first 2. The Demon one was long for what it was. Mazey Day just felt long. Seems more Twilight Zone than Black Mirror.

This season was a vast improvement on the last one. Loch Henry and Beyond the Sea are the standouts.

I didn't like it at the beginning, but by the end I thought it was decent. Certainly the timing of making this story is very good, with the public now becoming aware how fast AI is advancing.

Watched Joan is awful last night. Fell asleep after she did the thing in the church but did hear Selma Hayek make fun of herself.
Whole thing felt like an updated version of human centipad from South Park.

Joan is Awful had some interesting concepts but I felt it was executed extremely poorly.

I liked Loch Henry, but I don't know why it's a Black Mirror episode.
Beyond the Sea is classic Black Mirror! It was obvious what direction it was going to go in, but I'm guessing most of us were expecting a different ending.
Also I think it's a fantastic project for Aaron and Josh to have been a part of. I didn't like that they used the French version of the song, and I wonder if the decision came down to licensing issues/costs.
