re: Black Bird on Apple+

Solid start! It’s a bit slow, but it’s so well-shot it’s holding my interest. I think it’s definitely going to build and go in some really good places. I also think Apple and some of these other services are right to make these shows weekly again. It’ll help it build and gain a following as the show evolves.

Really like the guy who plays the main investigator. I’ve seen him in a ton of stuff, never remember his name, but he’s great. I also think the Elton John dude is pretty good, and he clearly put in a lot of time at the gym to thicken up for the role. The serial killer dude is creepy and weird as hell, really well-played.

O and the FBI chick absolutely better get naked at some point. She is stacked.
