Ewan McGregor is set to play the Batman villain in the Warner Bros. film, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Not her first film, but okay. She doesn't have the writing creds that James Gunn had when he got Guardians, but writing for the Wall Street Journal is almost as good as writing the Scooby Doo movies.

Variety's reporter is saying that the BoP shoot will take the place of the Suicide Squad 2 shoot that was scheduled for 2019. Also, Batgirl will be introduced in BoP prior to her own film.
The main thing that this film has going for it is that Robbie is coming off of producing and starring in an Oscar caliber film. She has the pull to get things going.
