Nate is in the scene, clearly a part of the family, but they don't show his death. It takes some thinking as to why they may not, but it's not a stretch for someone that hasn't seen the show figure out why.

Amazing how "big" TV moments fade away over the years. Gary's death on ThirtySomething was one of the big moment's of 90's TV, and now it's almost forgotten.
