The kid was just a kid, aggravating and mischevious, yes. Can’t really count him as a beta. Thankfully for him, Ernst went off to study in London and fritz and Roberta stayed on the island with the new govenor so he would have been mentored by fritz.

Starting to think the kid turned out to be alpha as f. Caught a tiger, mentored by fritz, knows about munitions. He probably single handedly populated the island.
