I was thinking of how past greats like Dr Will, janelle, boogie, Jeff, etc.. would have handled this situation. I know we live in completely different times now, but I think most others would have defended themselves a little better instead of rolling over and playing dead. But I totally get why it happened.
I called my favorite in Monte very early in the thread. Maybe first week. When he showed up in boots and a curved bill baseball cap on premiere night I immediately liked him. I guess that’s still my horse. There’s a couple of 3 I definitely don’t want to win.

I will say it was refreshing to watch four adults (Kyle, Monte, Taylor & Terrance) show on National TV that you can have an uncomfortable conversation and be mature and loving about it. They had an open and respectful dialogue. Kyle owned it, and the others showed him love and forgiveness. In my opinion we could all learn from that.

It does say a lot about them and it also says a lot about Kyle. It certainly would appear they don't really believe Kyle is truly racist or has any malice against them.
On the other hand, they think Michael is a snake in the grass.

well, that's another story.
she came away from the whole week saying "it wasn't that bad" and I reminded her she's seeing what they want her to see.

Yep, I think that they realized that Kyle screwed up and, for Monte and Taylor, they thought that he shouldn't stay around the house. However, I think they just think that he is sheltered/ignorant and not a bad person, so they're not going to throw him to the side and make him feel like garbage about himself.
Michael and Brittany I think that Monte and Terrance especially just think they are gross people.

this should be Michael's origin story to becoming 2 face.

Zingbot did his zings last night, and apparently Alyssa's zing was kind of rough. He called her dead weight and useless.
Poor girl had a rough night having to vote out a guy she says she loves, crying as he walks out the door, clutching Kyles blanket in her bed for a lot of the night, having zingbot call her dead weight and useless, and will be going on the block today.

I bet they give it a go post season.

BB in the BB thread my dude!!
If you want to really get into the Two Face persona, the more I think about it Michael was way more involved in the whole Kyle downfall than I initially realized.
Not that it was his goal to honeytrap Kyle into saying one of the stupidest things he could have said to the worst person possible, but that whole conversation about the lines being drawn likely all stemmed from Michael playing the middle, which he said many times was his goal, between Kyle and the rest of the LOs, namely Taylor Joseph and Monte.
I have a good feeling that even before Taylor’s HOH, Michael was stoking the flames on that side that Alyssa was a threat to the seven and where Kyle’s loyalties would really lie, then running to Kyle and saying those three are nervous about the showmance but he and Brittney don’t feel that way.
Now at the time, Kyle had his F2 with Turner so he would have felt he was the other person in the seven that was supporting him, so it actually was kind of Michael that drew the line in his mind about where the division was within the LOs.
Again, I don’t think Michael intended it to be viewed through a racial lens either, but he literally said his plan was to make both sides paranoid about the other so that he could play the middle and avoid being the target as the comp threat, which imo was perfectly fair and a good game move.
The problem came when Kyle listed off all the other potential members outside of the alliance that could potentially be numbers against them and they all happened to be POC, then realized the racial alignment and then couldn’t get the Cookout idea out of his head.
I think there was some Inception type shite happening with Michael and Kyle, even if what happened wasn’t necessarily what Michael intended.
The worst part of it is that Kyle and Monte had a good thing going and the pound really was Monte’s end game all along imo.
Kyle should have outmaneuvered Michael by trusting what he had with Monte and gone to him and said Michael is telling me you guys don’t trust me because of the showmance, then Monte would have said whoa Michael is the one telling us the showmance is dangerous.
That would have been great and totally burned Michael and the middle game he was trying to play, but instead Kyle immediately trusted Michael and started laying out possible moves going forward.
Stupid, but also somewhat planted through Two-Face’s manipulation imo.

The funniest thing about all of this is that both Kyle’s Cookout paranoia and Michael’s manipulation of it is now going to actually be the cause of Cookout 2.0
Monte and Taylor had no connection to Terrence at all, but now I don’t see Monte ever voting T out and I think he would rather work with T and Turner to get rid of Michael and Brittney.
Taylor probably still doesn’t trust T but she won’t go against Monte imo.
With Michael making such a big deal about this, it’s going to be very difficult for him to ever really be able to target any of the three, and I think they know that and will use it.
Terrence will likely be a nom this week with the assurance that Alyssa is the target, and if she somehow wins veto or is saved, Turner goes up and out.
Would be hilarious if Turner won veto and saved Alyssa, meaning Michael would have to put two black people up and evict one AGAIN
Unfortunately though in that situation I think he would put up Monte instead of Taylor, meaning one of the two guys that I’m hoping win will go home.
So honestly even if Turner wins veto I don’t think he’ll use it and he’ll choose to work with Monte and Terrence and send Alyssa to be with Kyle in jury.
Either way, Michael will almost certainly be the target during double eviction and only another veto win saves him.

this house is stupid if they don't drag Alyssa to final 2. whoever else is left will EASILY have a path to victory against her.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that Terrance is Michael’s target.

Normally I think that would be the plan. But with everything that happened last week I don’t think Terence going home is likely.
He’s up against Alyssa, so I think the houseguests won’t have much choice, and her obvious ties to Kyle make it an easy out.
Although like I said I think Michael’s hope is to backdoor Turner without putting him up so that he can hope for safety in the event Turner stays and then wins next HOH.

Whether he is or isn’t, Monte and Turner will want to keep him, and so Taylor will have to choose between doing what Monte wants or what Michael wants. Taylor doesn’t have any game ties with Alyssa and has wanted her out too so I don’t think she’ll really care.
Again, after last week Taylor sending T out over Alyssa wouldn’t make much sense imo.
I think she goes with Monte and keeps T.

Michael was saying last night in his one on ones that wants Terrence to go this week over Alyssa. I'm pretty sure that Brittany feels the same way.
So it'll all depend on what Monte, Turner and Taylor decide to do. Monte was telling Turner last night about about how Terrence said he'll basically poison the jury on Michael and Brittany for what they did, so he might not be too upset if Terrence goes. Now with that said, I'm sure he'd want Terrence to stay over Alyssa (who he has no game relationship with). So I think he'll push for keeping Terrence.
I honestly think Turner would prefer to keep Alyssa because he's closer to her, and knows she'd most likely never go after him. But he also likes Terrence so if Monte and Taylor push really hard for Alyssa to go, then he probably won't put up much of a fight.
Now Taylor I think is the wild card. She really doesn't like Terrence, and hasn't liked him for a while. And she was the most upset with how much Terrence tried to save Kyle last week. So I could definitely see her wanting him out, but I could also see Monte convincing her to keep him. Taylor has always been "easy to convince", whether it was by Joseph or by Brittany. So I could see Monte use the race card saying that they can't vote out a black person after what happened this past week. So I think Taylor is going to be the key to how this week goes if Terrence and Alyssa are sitting on the block on eviction day.

Monte and Terrance are furious still about the timing of Michael and Brittany's timing, and I don't think Michael winning HOH has helped those feelings.
I have quit the show, but might come back if they are able to ban together and evict Michael and his floating bitch. Someone DM me if that likelihood arises.

Yeah that’s how I see the house dynamics at this point as well, you laid it out perfectly
I do think Monte wanting T in the jury house is a move he’ll wait on though. Right now those two have built up a really good relationship, and I doubt Monte has that as his top priority.
I think knowing that Turner and T are allies he can work with, getting Alyssa out this week is the more immediate goal, as they have both pretty much said they don’t fully trust each other, with the three of them then focusing on taking out Michael and Brittney.
Once that’s done he can decide between T Turner and Taylor as to who he wants at F2.

I think so too. I mean at this very moment she's cuddled up in bed with Kyle's blanket that he's worn as a cloak for half the game. Plus after she "broke up" with him, she tracked him down and seduced before the day was over, screwed him, told him that she still loved him multiple times, talked to him about baby names, and asked if they started a family would he insist on living in Utah or would he be open to live in Florida.
That girl has been obsessed with him since week two in the house, and now he is obsessed with her. I think I'd give them a 90% chance of giving it a go after the show. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 100% chance is the distance of where they live. It's one thing to say you are willing to move away from your family for someone that lives halfway on the other side of the country, it's a whole other thing to actually do it.
