They're talking about Jason or Ramses, not Paul as replacement.

Haven't watched anything but the tv episodes but cody grew on me last night. I'm doing like I did last year when I was the first member of #teampaul. I'm close to boarding the cody train

That would be awesome if he did (he won't, but would be awesome if he did). Paul has the 3 week safety, and none of the others know about it. So it would be hilarious to see Cody decide to make a huge move, go to put Paul up, and Paul laugh at him and say ummm, no.
Sad thing is, it would actually be the right move without the stupid temptation twist to get the vet out ASAP. But production decided they needed yet another twist to make the houseguests not want to take chances.

I would think Ramses would be a better target bc it seems like he can rally the troops. I doubt Cody is worried about physical threats at this point
