Question about the Hex, some of yall help me out here...
So say Cody and Josh are on the block and Cody is about to be evicted but Jess Halts everything and plays her Hex. Then The HOH is forced to name 1 new nom in place of Cody? Or two? Also, is Jess then safe or is she in jeopardy of being put up?
If Jess is on the block and is forced to use the Hex and Cody is somehow not on the block...if she uses the Hex could then the HOH put up Cody??
That last part seems like worst case scenario for cody/jess right?
Im a little confused in this HEX and just looking for clarity..

It completely cancels out the HOH. It's as if the week didn't happen.

I think the hex just resets the week

I think it just stops the eviction from happening, and they move on to the HOH competition. Like the week never even happened.

Wow...
that's awesome.
Just making sure that 1 didn't get put up after the other was taken down.
Wow, that would make for good TV.....
Obviously if they are both in jeopardy(which they prob will be unless Cody wins HOH) then they will play it next week...so that forces BB to schedule the Double Eviction for the following week if the HEX is played...which sets up for good timing I guess since the HEX will throw things off...
Really it all just helps them play catchup since the Megan Chick left etc.. well done Production

As far as I'm aware, Vanessa also didn't win. Not sure why she's on there with the other 3

As for that meme, it's possible for someone to be playing a good game(Paul is), while the rest of the house is being dumb(they are.)
Even the good players make dumb mistakes, though I can't recall one that Derrick made.

The years are wrong for Derrick and Vanessa too

Im pretty certain that production is dropping hints to jessica.
She called the house vote flip before veto nom and now is calling elana being in the dark with the vote. 100% production is dropping hints to her during her DR

Do we know if the Hex can be played after the votes or does it have to be played before. Don't recall that specific rule.

It's either before the votes or before the eviction is announced not sure which one.

The Hex has to be used right before the votes start on the air. Jess screwed the pooch big time this week, and the worst part is her hunch was right the whole time. She should have said, "Why leave any doubt, I will use Raven as a pawn because I know Paul's side will not vote her out--ensuring Josh goes home." She blew it. Ramses will walk out the door tonight, and she probably won't be shocked.

So if Jody are able to flip some people and plan a blindside but are unsure if they'll have the numbers, but it actually works, then she may use it unnecessarily?

Well, it is so true though. BB is all about manipulation and all that entails more than anything else. Sure being a competitive or a likeable person helps, but really it comes down to the people that can big moves without other players realizing it.
The vast majority of players go in with the mindset of making friends and spending the summer in the house that they completely forget they are playing a game and not participating in the cbs version of the Real World.
I.think they evict even Raven over Josh at thus point. They are clearly getting tired of her shite and think they couldn't win because mah dying.

Jess shouldn't even consider using the Hex this week. It would be one of the dumbest moves of all time.
You only use it if her or Cody are on the block. Period.

It actually wouldn't be that bad of a move. Hexing the week saves Ramses. Bring him, Elena, Mark firmly on your side, and just ball out in the HOH. Odds are on their side imo that they win and then they can put a plan in place to evict Paul. It would be extremely difficult but not more difficult than things could be if Ramses leaves. There's a good chance Elena will dump ties with Mark and Jody after the blindside tonight.
