still not entirely sure how he managed to manipulate Danielle when she had both HoH and PoV in F4

So there we go. Zakiyah and Michelle will go up on the Block later today. Some will want Zakiyah out but Michelle is Paulie’s preferred target instead of Zakiyah so let’s go ahead and guess who will get his way. Of course Michelle does have a Veto win under her belt so she could pull off an upset on Saturday. That’ll be an exciting one to watch and see what happens!

Long read, but that was the final paragraph...smh, Vic is a bitch ha

the problem with casting in BB is they go for eye appeal and they dont cast for strategic thinking. So after we get tired of looking at them and it is time to play the game, there is nothing there to work with and the game becomes group think

You hit the nail on the head. Survivor does a lot better job of casting. They always have a diverse cast of different ages and backgrounds. I wonder if they have a harder time finding people who want to play BB, it's hard to imagine to many 40+ year olds who want to be locked in a house for 3 months.

Do more 40+ year olds want to be dirty, sunburnt and starving on a flea infested beach exposed to rain for the time it takes to film Survivor?

I think BB's casting department just does a poor job of casting relative to Survivor's casting department.

yep.

Survivor doesn't seem too full of itself, at least to me as an outside who doesn't really watch survivor. BB, on the other hand, tries to be hip and cool and target the younger crowd. I mean hell, I think all but 2 of this year's 12(?) new HGs were 30 or under. And 1 of the 2 was early 30s. Glen was really the only true outlier for age. The endless hashtags they try to manufacture, the painfully forced/scripted DR sessions, having like 80% of the competitions involve wearing next to nothing, forcing the phrases "showmance" and "bromance" on us...it's like BB is trying to be the real world for a sliiightly older age demographic.

Hit it on the head. The Big Brother game structure is so solid; it's just become way too over-produced. I would say Season 10 might be the turning point. That's the last one where you really saw diversity in the cast, and it didn't seem like they were scripting the DRs that much.

From last night
quote:

Paul- Let's say Z somehow pulls herself down, throw Bridgette up and send Bridgette home. Victor- I dont want to send Bridgette home

Why does Paul not like Bridgette. I respect Victor for saying that's not what he wants to do.

It was funny when his mom talked about how Paul promised her a Bentley if he won.

Considering IF Paul won, he would get about 300K AFTER taxes...I highly doubt he is spending 200-250K of that for the cheaper Bentley options for his mom. She is as stupid as her son.

I just rewatched that whole portion again the other day. 14 was my first season and Dan hooked me immediately. How he was able to convince people just amazed me.

He convinces Danielle to use the veto on him and ultimately sending home her beau. The look on her face when Dan evicted Shane was priceless.

This season is truly horrible.

I heard they're using a completely different casting agency for BB19 (this fall), maybe we'll get some better contestants.

You know, I'm optimistic about BB19. They won't throw in internet stars and stupid people like they have been doing considering the majority of their watchers will be hardcore fans.

Yeah. Me too. People who want to game and compete, not just sleep their way to jury.

Should be fun. Can't be worse than this season.

The more I think about it, he needs to put Paul and Paulie up. If one comes down, replace with Corey. Nicole is the only one in a showmance that would absolutely vote for their partner, so it guarantees a vote. Vic needs to get in Bridgette's ear and tell her everyone has a buddy but us. Final 2 deal made and then Bridgette, James, Nat, and Nicole vote the remaining PP out. Paulie or Paul will be severely less powerful with the other out of the house.
