You could easily create an original story in the BB/BCS universe. One that is based in the year 2018-2020 with new characters.

“Francesca’s Place.”

Landlord Francesca gets into hilarious predicaments dealing with the two stoners and other wacky tenants in her small apartment complex.

Saul tries to run, tries to get vaccumed, is usuccesful, somehow loses all the cash and diamonds...is left with nothing.

Surrenders, and is transported back to Albequerque.

Is shown in court, looking back to see if Kim was there (she isnt) and then is asked by the judge where is his lawyer.

He stands and answers, "your honor, I will be representing myself..."

End. Its left to the viewer to speculate if he was able to wiggle out like a cockroach, or jail.

Jesse stands in a new Super Lab under a cleaners in Alaska decked
out in a chemical suit. Saul stands beside him likewise decked out.

He looks up at the catwalk and yells let’s cook Yo.

Kim’s face appears on camera with blonde ponytail She says “Ham was right. He
was right the whole time.”

Fades to black while Crystal Blue Persuasion plays.

Jimmy is the only one witness alive to corroborate Kim's story.

I think he buys it to protect Kim.

Jimmy is caught, thrown in jail, and runs an operation from a cell like a crooked Shawshank situation

Last scene is one frustrated inmate who felt wronged by Jimmy, shanks him, bleeding out looks up to the sky and dies

[end series]

This show started out as more of a legal show than gangster/drug lord show. I hope he either goes to prison or ends with him representing himself in court knowing he's going to prison.

With her husband hidden in the closet to come out and kill Saul … Betsy Kettleman seduces Saul in a dingy motel by doing a slow striptease and …. then I don’t care!

Kim's own analysis is that she won't be charged with anything because there's no physical evidence, and Jimmy's not going to testify to anything. I don't think she's in legal jeopardy.

For the ending I'm still sticking to my now-ridiculous idea that Kim somehow still concludes that Jimmy is her future.

You bring up an intriguing idea, a surprise character or two from the BB years that they were able to keep totally under wraps. Unfortunately all the interesting characters are dead and Jesse's in Alaska. Badger and Skinny Pete would be fun but are they key witnesses to Saul stuff? Elliott and Gretchen are boring. Skyler will just piss people off. Flynn would be a popular return only if the first scene with him is at breakfast, getting ready to testify or something.

Walt Jr interrupts the proceedings yelling, "What the frick is going on?? Nobody's telling me shite!!!" But the judge lets it go because of the crutches and everything.
