Does Saul make it out alive?
In the preview. Was that his old car in the desert? If so he must have left something in it inadvertently.
My personal opinion is he Saul makes it out alive somehow.

I think he lives but goes to prison. Because he’s referenced throughout the series as a survivor, but in the VG universe bad people are always punished, and make no mistake Saul is a bad person.

Makes sense.
You think there will be another spin off in this universe?

Bob Newhart type ending and he wakes up as the kid with the globe in St Elsewhwre…who’s had help from Kim this whole time creating this magnificent universe.

The title of the finale is “Saul Gone”

I don’t know what spin-off you could make that isn’t just milking it after BCS. Plus all the actors are old

Dies (or so we're led to believe) alone and in the desert.

Blonde power pony returns
*Yes, that was his shitbox Suzuki in the desert.

Something on Gus, his backstory.

That’s what I thought. Any idea why he's back there?

The finale will just be VG sitting in a chair looking nervous as hell. And he’ll explain to the camera that the ending revolves around Jimmy and Kim being together the whole time, and how everything in the Gene timeline was a dream and they’ve been working together during the entirety of the BB timeline. He’ll try to make it sound sincere, but it won’t because he’ll be in the midst of being threatened off camera at gunpoint by an armed Ham Solo, who is viciously feeding him lines and letting him know that if he flubs any of them up he’ll be shot.

He will get what he deserves - prison.
Maybe Kim visits him and tells him what she wanted to say when they signed the divorce papers and he acted like an uncaring arse. Kim needs that for closure.

Disappointment
This is my fear based on the past few episodes. And in all honesty, I’m not even sure how I’d like it to end, or what would satisfy me. I do know that as long as it’s done well, I’ll be good with it. I just don’t want another mundane Gene episode that seems completely useless and like a giant waste of time. If that’s the case they should’ve just ended it with Lalo/Howard and then given us a “where are they now” of sorts and been done.
I have to assume the black and white will fade and we’ll get a color episode, converging things a bit. That seems like it would be pretty cool I guess. But for a show that was so fricking good for so fricking long, so far it’s going out with a whimper. Like I said earlier, I was down for Gene episodes as much as anybody, but they are boring the shite out of me. They’re good television, for sure, but not to wrap up one of the best shows of the last ten years. Maybe the show was just so intense and the plot lines were so great and wrapped up so great/neatly that it deserves to rest a bit at the end. But that doesn’t make for very compelling TV. At least not for me.

Kim learns to perfect mayonnaise and strives to put Miracle Whip out of business.

I think Plan and Execution and Point and Shoot were pretty much the climax of the series and the Gene episodes are more of an epilogue. But that doesn’t sound as good as calling it a series finale.

For some reason it’s light blue…mayo kingpin also runs a Dollar General in Defuniak Springs.

You could easily create an original story in the BB/BCS universe. One that is based in the year 2018-2020 with new characters.

I wonder if after the main ending we get a little “twelve years later” postscript for any or all of Saul/Kim/Jesse/Mike’s daughter-in-law and granddaughter where the timeline is updated to 2022?
