I’d take Breaking Bad first, but both are fantastic. It’s kind of amazing how Better Call Saul turned out to be.

I love Gus, one of my favorite tv characters of all time. But I actually kinda see what you’re saying here. There have been a couple of moments where it looks like he’s trying too hard to be the intimidating/badass version of Gus.

Exactly.
The best thing about BCS is that it gives us another glimpse of some of the characters from BB. And we like them more for what they did on BB, not what they are doing on BCS. If BCS came first, we wouldn’t like these characters nearly as much (aside from Saul, who obviously has much more screen time).
It’s like the Swedish Bikini Team lived in your town and fricked your brains out once a week and it was the best time of your life. But then they moved away. Then a few years later they moved back, but a few of the hottest members were gone. They replaced them with a few new girls who aren’t nearly as hot, but still pretty attractive. But now instead of fricking your brains out every single week, they’ll just let you watch them masturbate on occasion. Still not a bad time, but not nearly on the same level.

No it's not. It's great on it's own, but by this point in breaking bad..season 5..BCS hasnt even had anything close to a season 4 of breaking bad

Don’t know if better than BB but very good. Been binge watching it, midway in season 4. Sail/Jimmy is a scoundrel but has a good heart.

It's not even close to BB but the last BCS episode was fantastic. Problem is there are too many filler episodes of BCS to compare to BB.

Can we at least all agree that scenes/story lines with Kim Wexler are always more enjoyable than any with Skyler White?
