Obviously the answer is Primal Fear, right? I’m watching PF right now but rewatched The Game a few days ago due to the Michael Douglas thread (which was one of my top 4). I also encourage anyone to add the best movies with twist endings so we can discuss

I liked the ending to primal fear at the time, didnt feel like it held up well though. I miss when people worked with Edward Norton.

Of these two, Primal Fear.

Others, (betters?), would include Sixth Sense and Seven.

My favorite would be The Sting. I had no idea that was coming.

There was a big thread about the goat movie twist a few years back and iirc sixth sense was the consensus winner.

I can believe that. I had not seen it when it first came out and watched it on DVD with some friends that already knew what the ending was. My mind was fricking blown. They all said, “we only put it on just to see your reaction since we already knew what was going to happen.”

Is the Crying Game before all of y'all's time? I remember that one was quite the big deal at the time.

as do I, to my understanding he’s a pain in the arse to work with. He’s a great actor though

I definety remember the ending to sixth sense but I don’t remember my reaction so I’ll have to rewatch. Seven is one of my favorite movies and I didn’t see his wife’s head coming in the box but after multiple rewatches I’m surprised that I didn’t realize something so obvious was coming considering he wanted to complete the 7 sins

Saw
The best movie in the franchise in my opinion but as soon as I saw the body on the floor I had a feeling something was up

And Fight Club are the GOATs IMHO.

My ex wife is a talker during movies. It’s like she can’t help herself. We went to see Sixth Sense in the theater. She guessed the twist five minutes into the movie. The scene where BW comes into the room and his wife is sleeping and pulls the blanket up. I swore to her that I would never watch the movie again, and I haven’t.

Great addition, I remember the first time I saw it and my mind was fricking blown. Again, I’ll have to rewatch The 6th Sense bc I’ve only seen it once I think

People could guess the twist of Sixth Sense especially after the dinner scene.

But when it came out, The Crying Game was a shocker just like the reaction of the protagonist. Everyone was like wtf?

No one knew of really nor the media talked about stuff like that. It was a different time.

In fact the studios were like audience members can't talk about it to ruin the twist.

I agree with Sixth Sense and Fight Club but will add Memento, The Prestige, The Others to the list.

I have not seen and don’t know the twist endings to The Crying Game, The Usual Suspects, Primal Fear, The Game, The Sting.
