Fandango w/Costner & others. If it was in a theater, it would have probably been one weekend in Santa Monica or a week in Austin. Good movie, but relatively unknown outside of Texas

Breaker Morant.
It was on screen in Australia, but not in the U.S.

I Will Fight No More Forever
It’s about Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe and his resistance to being relocated to a reservation in Idaho. It’s from 1975.
There is a 46 mile highway in WY near Yellowstone that follows the path he took as he lead his tribe to Canada. It’s the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway.

rewatching the Armand Assante Gotti movie HBO did the other day (1996 I think) and forgot how good it was.
Michael Franzese has done more for resurrecting this film than almost any single person I can remember.
The Sopranoes was actually cast mostly from it because everyone was so good. Assante was phenomenal as John Gotti.

Son of a b***h, it was in theaters
Haha it’s just a very specific memory for me.
My dad took me and my brother out of school early the Friday it came out, drove us to New Orleans, and we saw it at the Galleria theater. Stayed there all weekend, toured all around New Orleans on Saturday, then watched the LSU v Miami Saturday night (44-3 Tha U, ouch
Elway actually declined after the beatdown
Didn’t care though, was legit one of the best weekends of my childhood, and it all started with Land Before Time at the Galleria 8

The Temptations TV mini series. Does that count?

I've seen all 4 versions of "Of Mice And Men" over the years and I think the last one is my favorite.
It stars Gary Sinise as George and John Malkovich as Lenny. Malkovich's portrayal of the man-child Lenny was unbelievably good with Sinise putting in an equally solid performance as George.
The other one I like is the original released in 1939 starring Burgess Merridith as George and Lon Chaney as Lenny.

The Stand (1994), it was classified as a tv series but was essentially a movie. Loved it when it came out.
