I know it’s a Netflix movie, but The Highwaymen was great and it was really cool how they recreated the ambush scene at the actual location.

How about Brian De Palma's 1976 movie "Obsession"?

Creepy psycho good.
A lot of New Orleans in that movie, fits right in.
