The Coen Brothers have some gems:

• O Brother Where Art Thou
• Inside Llewyn Davis

(Plus the Another Day, Another Time concert album celebrating Inside Llewyn Davis was amazing.)

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood had a great soundtrack, IIRC

Dazed and Confused is a classic

"Almost Famous" is pretty damned close

And "Elizabeth Town". Of course, both had Cameron Crowe at the helm. You'd expect he and Nancy to make tasty choices.

Far better films and soundtracks have been mentioned with The Crow or Boogie Nights probably being my top... but I also really love Jackie Brown.

The popular again Kate Bush is on it and has the best moment of the film.

Is it too soon to say Saturday Night Fever?

You'd get punched for saying it in the 80's. But the film and album hold up.
