It's not just you. The trailer was bad in general anyway.

I've been pretty underwhelmed by the trailers. The CGI looks very bad.

There was another who did that:

I'd like to think we've advanced beyond the whole "that mean/scary dude is really a sweetheart once you get to know him" trope.

So no matter how good the movie was, he wasn't going to like it. Just the concept makes him not like it. And this clown works for Forbes.

I mean c'mon. How can someone be that annoying and live?

Good. I'd hate for live action Disney remakes to become the next comic book movies where we have 10 a year.

It's going to make enough money to justify more live action remakes.

One of my wife's coworkers went to the premier. Her brother works for Disney and his job during the premier was to keep some VIPs out of sight during the red carpet walk and then sneak them into the back row, so she and her mom got to attend.

She said the Beast was great but the movie was just okay overall. She said there were some scary parts, but it seemed appropriate for small children. Did not mention the gay stuff, which for this lady probably means there's nothing to them. Still, that negative publicity coupled with bad reviews might make this something of a disappointment for Disney.

The story I remember is that the Beast fell for Belle. Belle was an all around genuine person. This critic is retarded.

The wolves were really "scary," but for the most part that element is in 1 or 2 scenes and it probably wouldn't be too scary for my 3-year old. Better?

ETA: I assumed your comment was sarcasm. In the off-chance that it wasn't, I am being nice with my reply.

Down to 68%, 6 of the last 10 reviews were rotten. Main complaint seems to be that Belle was miscast, Emma is too plain and emotionless.
