You do have to admire some of the acting by rookies. Too many different messages trying to be thrown at you at one time. Story got really silly/retarded at times. The beasts were terrible. Wouldn't watch again, but glad I watched once.

Oh yes, you're right, I am mistaken. It is a great movie, especially because a lot of so-called experts liked it. The scene where the girl and man are throwing things at each other in the cabin, it added so much depth to the movie. And the part where they stuff this super realistic looking garfish with dynamite, place it next to the dam, lose the tripwire. What tension!

I think I could make a better movie than this.

I watched it at the Acadiana center for the arts....in that setting I liked it.


I imagine watching on your sofa wouldn't be great. It needs the artsy back drop.

It was alright, wife liked it a lot more than me. Wasn't terrible or anything, just jumped all over and started losing interest at the midpoint. I give the girl props, she was very good.

Some dumb aspects but generally a thumbs up. The young actress is very good, the story is weird and foreboding.
