Batman Begins question

I absolutely love this movie and how it lays things out for the next movies, but one thing I have always thought about is how Bruce was able to build the Batcave and keep it secret? Who the hell is even capable of building something like that (contractors?) and how do they keep a secret about what they’re building?

They had military contracts so I’d imagine it’d be explained that way. I’m sure some trusted private defense contractors are used for some military installations so similar to that?

I’m assuming it’s piece meal built offsite then he rents/owns and operates the equipment to get it onsite.

I don't want to ruin your day or anything, but all superhero stories fall apart if you start thinking about them too hard. Just let them wash over you and enjoy them for what they are.

Pretty much all movies/books.
It can be fun to analyze but it shouldnt be something that makes or breaks the movie

Please don’t mistake me for a film snob who over analyzes this shite

The cave itself was built before Bruce was even alive. Alfred mentioned when they were installing light fixtures.
“Your great-great-grandfather was involved in the Underground Railroad.”

He hired overseas companies through shell companies and packaged it as top secret missle silo work. Workers were blindfolded as they were brought to the site. Stayed on sight. Different workers worked on different sections which were boarded up and hidden so no crew really saw the big picture of what was being built.

He got the crew from better call Saul. Mike oversaw it.

how Bruce was able to build the Batcave and keep it secret?

They tried to explain some of that sort of thing when they ordered the suits. They placed huge bulk orders through shell corporations to avoid suspicion. Some of it was military. The new Batman movies lean more into Alfred being involved.

The reality is everyone would know he is Batman and a guy in a costume running around trying to punch people without superpowers would get shot in the face the first day on the job.
