Recently tried out Cinema on demand. I tried out an episode or two of this show years ago but never really followed through.
Anyone on here see it? Does it get better as the RT score suggests?

Banshee is so good. It’s weird as shite and not believable but it’s so entertaining.
I’d say it’s for sure worth it to watch the whole first season and decide from there. My guess is you will start the 2nd season.

If you like gratuitous sex and violence, stick with it.

Banshee is very good. Ultra violent, interesting characters, hot chicks getting nude a lot...
I may do a re-watch

I just finished Banshee two weeks ago. I had done the same as you, watched two and left it alone for a few years.
I enjoyed it a lot. The poster that said it’s pretty unbelievable is right. But I didn’t have a problem with it and enjoyed every episode.

It basically takes place in the same universe as john wick. any red blooded, meat eating male should love it.
actually just finished a rewatch of it last week. i just wish we could have gotten these two to fight

Lucas Hood makes Homelander look like a pussy.

I watched the first two seasons on Netflix a while back, but it doesn't appear to be on anymore.
Is the rest only on Cinemax?

The sex scenes are more violent than the fight scenes.
One chick stradled Lucas and tried to drive him through the headboard.
And then there's Nola Longshadow.

Think so, I assume it’ll probably be available on hbo max at some point

I watched the first three seasons and loved it. It's definitely a bit ridiculous, but very entertaining.
I haven't watched season 4 yet. For those that have, is it worth it? With the way S3 ended it seems like the story is going to much different.
Edit: I finished the first 3 Seasons

Season 3 is great. Season 4 is where the entire tone of the show changes.

I think it was Prime, not Netflix... looks like $2 an episode now.

Your Marty Hart from True Detective S01 and it's time to cash in on that $20 down payment. The John Wick comparison is good. Like a John Wick universe set in Amish country
