no matter how many times I watch it.

I think a lot of it is seeing the emotion of the vets in the commentary they show before some of the episodes. It gives you a real look into how much of a close knit unit they were.

I can't get enough of this series.

This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

I could watch the actor who portrayed Lt. Speirs do the character ad infinitum in his own TV show.

That's because it reminds us that what we are seeing is taken from stories of guys who were there. These are real people that really did this stuff. The reality before you watch the episode really gets to your heart.

I was hooked when Bill Maynard was explaining how he was trying to decide where to go and someone said Airborne, and he asked, "What's that?"

Malarkey I think gets me the most. The man ran and lived through so many ridiculous battles and lost so many close friends.

The move where Winters tells them to make up the raid at the end of the war when it’s over is stuff of legend. Just an incredible leader of men.

I went to school with Smokey Gordon's kids in Lafayette.

Corporal Walter Scott Gordon Jr. (15 April 1920 – 19 April 1997)[1] was a non-commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army during World War II.

Gordon was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers by Ben Caplan. He was featured in the 2010 book A Company of Heroes: Personal Memories about the Real Band of Brothers and the Legacy They Left Us.

but that he came back.

Beast.

His speech with Lip in the chapel afterwards is another tug at my heart strings.

I'm surprised he didn't become a big star.

The Main Theme for the intro of that show is one of the best scores in tv history. The best IMO

My wife is a big fan of "Gossip Girl" and I had to do a double take when I saw him in that.
