There is only one way this idea can go - shite. If they managed to remake it 25% as good as the original I would be shocked.

What I’d like to know is did they ask what would you like to see remade? Or which of these would you like to see remade and list choices? My guess is the later

The story was told. Perfectly. Nothing can be gained by remaking it. The nostalgia of 50’s culture is a lot more appealing than 80’s culture. Marty’s mom being a slut isn’t taboo in the 80s.

Dear Zemeckis and Spielberg, please say no.
