I just don’t understand why people loved this, usually I can find a reason why it’s not my taste. This movie is a clown show with a subpar soundtrack

it was a gimmick with a movie made around it, instead of being a movie with a gimmick running through it.

I mean, have you seen Edgar Wright’s movies? Granted this is my least favorite of his, but it was still solid and well directed. I think the end is terrible though.

I’d also say that this is Wright’s most dependent film on seeing it in the theater. His other movies I don’t think lose any value watching them at home, but this certainly does.

I thought it was ok. It was a fun ride for about 3/4 of it and the ending crazy shootout/getaway etc was pretty cool. Still don't understand why all these people would have risked that much for a job they knew was fricked from the get go. Also, I hated that his name was Baby. I know that was sort of part of the gimmick, but I thought it was so fricking dumb to name him that.

I agree it got more praise then it deserved but I didn’t think it was horrible. The ending was pretty dumb though.

The opening scene was the best part of the movie. It was a lot of fun to see in theaters.
