Hate that Kevin Spacey got universally dunked on for what appears to be nothing more than what's typical for Hollywood.

Yes, a garbage human, but damn, he's been in some amazing roles.

Think I'll check it out.

I loved how the blended the soundtrack in the movie. The beginning was really cool

I watched it this weekend, too. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great movie.

i'm no Spacey lover, but when the facts came out, it was pretty small potatoes compared to Weinstein or what Diddy is being accused of.

It's a highly enjoyable movie.

And while i think John Hamm went to far in his quest for revenge.... i kinda get why he did.

Yeah it really sucks that Spacey got in trouble for fricking an underage teen boy, especially since he’s a good actor. Totally.

I liked it and remember thinking it would’ve done better had they named it differently.

Baby Driver and Happy Death Day were two of the most unfortunately-named films of 2017 that both turned out to be all-time favorites once I saw them

I was able to catch them both in the theater during MoviePass' insane $10 phase. We were going to the theater 4X a week, on average.

And, yes, Eiza Gonzalez is straight fire.

Baby looks like Han Solo in that first outfit that he wears for multiple scenes. Ansel Elgort and Alden Erenreich were interchangeable at the time, in my mind & that costume didn't help clear it up.

As an Atlanta native, it's jarring to see places you recognize out of sequence in a movie, like the downtown areas in this one.

Here's the opening scene split screened with Google Maps.

i'm in no way going to defend somebody that commits atrocities vs. minors... Full stop.

but...

quote:

Spacey stated on Twitter that he did not remember the encounter, but that he owed Rapp "the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior" if he had behaved as asserted.[126][127] On September 9, 2020, Rapp sued Spacey for sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress under the Child Victims Act.[128] In the subsequent federal civil court proceeding, a jury found that Spacey did not molest Rapp and was found not liable on all counts, with Rapp subsequently ordered by the court to pay Spacey $39,089 in damages.[129][130]

i can't say if the courts are right or wrong. I mean courts found Trump "liable" of sexual assault with 0 evidence because he was possibly in the same or adjacent building

Both are great. Both are different.

Baby Driver's thing is to sync the movie/action scenes to the beats of the music. That's pretty cool.
