Haven’t seen any threads, but I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and it’s decent considering I feel starved for anything decent to watch the last few months.

Honestly, before this show I wouldnt have been able to tell you if Versace was male or female, certainly didn’t know he was killed by a serial killer.

Trailer

I don't see how they are going to make this story all that compelling. It was essentially a random killing by a psychopath. Just happened to a celebrity. Don't see the juice in that story

No, Versace was targeted. The first episode went over some of their history together. I thought it was pretty boring though.

I think the real story is interesting but I haven’t found the show all that compelling.

Penelope Cruz is doing a better Donatella than I expected.

I wonder how much of Cunnan’s other killings will be discussed over the next 7 episodes. I will still watch the series but it’s definitely not up to the standard of OJ.

Reporter Maureen Orth published a 2008 article in Vanity Fair claiming that the two had met briefly at a San Francisco night club in 1990 (based on several eyewitness claims), and might possibly have interacted on further occasions because both were involved in sex-for-hire circles in Miami and San Francisco.

Cunanan was obsessed with the designer, often bragging about his close "friendship" with Versace.

FWIW, Versace’s family has denied that they ever met. With both dead I guess no one really knows.

Regardless, the fact the show is showing that they did meet makes it much more interesting. The first episode was free on iTunes and I’ll keep watching.

Penelope Cruz looks damn good as well.

I don't know how his family would have any idea how many men Versace met or entertained over the years.

I believe it's possible they met because Cunanan was able to get into the circles of a lot of older wealthy men by basically being a male gigolo. But as the show depicts, Cunanan frequently bent reality into a lie or delusion to impress his friends. In the show he approached Versace, who seemed to find him mildly off putting, yet he tells his friend that Versace approached him and asked him out the next night.

This story's always fascinated me. I'm interested to see his behavior before he snapped because the 1990 Cunanan didn't seem to be one on the verge of killing.

Oj was easier to watch because people knew the story and no gay rapes.

I like this story because I know nothing about it and very few people do. The oj story something new is popping up each day. No one is popping up on tmz talking about this every day.
