Nah. New plot device.
And I guess the motivation for felicity's dad is that he blames the city for putting her in the wheelchair and is seeking revenge?

Yeah, same here. When Oliver started chasing him, and he was jumping all over the place, I said that has to be Roy.
I liked the episode. I was so hoping that Shado had returned (although I don't know how they could've explained it). She is fine as hell, and has the personality to match. But alas, she was just there to Yoda train Oliver.
At least we'll get Nyssa for an episode or two. I wonder if Malcolm will end up letting Oliver beat him for Thea's sake. With that said though, I doubt very seriously Oliver kills him.
And I liked the twist at the end. I actually didn't see that one coming. The Calculator is actually a good character to have as her dad, especially with what little background they have given Felicity.

That was a great episode, got some Roy flips, Felicity's dad being a cyber terrorist, and Nyssa and Shado

Her fighting scenes actually make her look like the skilled fighter she is. She should be fun to watch on LoT.

That's what they said in this week's episode, but isn't the reason she left because of the blood lust? Think the writers fudged up there

No, it just made it to where she didn't need to kill in order to stay alive, like Thea apparently has to.

I'm over the whole Rhas and League of Assasins storyline. youre dead, now you're not, dead again, alive again, going to die, I can save you. I think the writers went too far with this story line. I am about two more episodes away from being done. Oh no Felicitys dad is the new main bad guy.

Well, at least they fixed that since they destroyed the Lazarus pit (unless they find another one or something).

He won't be the main bad guy because we still have Darhk. But I'm starting to worry they about to do something worse than making him the big bad. I'm starting to think he will be the guy that Darhk kills in the flash forwards, which will be such a letdown after the hype they've been putting into mystery of who is in the grave.
