Meh, last night was like a shitty version of Supernatural

This season is a big improvement over last. It's pretty amazing to think we went from a season and a half of a show based in reality to going into the netherworld to recover trapped souls. Not seeing it is bad or good but it certainly has changed from its original feel.

He's a basic catch-all supernatural go-to guy in the DC Universe. When Alan Moore first began to pull the DC supernatural elements of the DCU together, he used the Constantine character as the guy who knew everyone.
He was originally an image of Sting (from The Police) that the artist liked to drop into Swamp Thing stories for fun. Eventually they brought him to life as a punk, chainsmoking a-hole who fought demons.

His wikipedia page will have a better overview of his character than anyone here can offer. Should I have done all the work and supplied that link for you?

Constantine. I did know there was a movie by that name, but never made a DC connection.
Anyway, I do appreciate the info/help you have shared. My question has been answered.

The buildup to saving Sarah's soul followed by completely her complete disappearance from the remainder of the show was so jarring.

I agree. They go in and fight 3 people to get her soul back.
That was so difficult

Agree that the fight for her soul was weak. Three dudes are holding her there plus some hands in the water. Ok.
I guess we will see her again before she runs off to the new show. I'm excited for ant man, I mean ray Palmer next week. This guy darkh is a bad dude to be involved in so much.
Anyone think Diggle's brother was not as bad as they say. From what we've heard over the years he was an ok guy. Now he's a drug lord? Not sure about that.

Did Constantine "fix" Thea too, and we just didn't see it, or is she still messed up from the pit, but just able to control it? Or did it wear off?

Thea is still broken. She kills every few weeks or she goes nuts. Her killings will line up with every TV ratings sweeps period.

Robert Rodriguez' El Rey Network has been running marathons of the entire season.

I saw a theory that Dig's brother isnt actually dead but that he's a deep cover ARGUS agent in HIVE, thats why that one grunt didnt kill Dig when he had a chance, it was Andy. I dont really think that theory jives but it's an interesting take on it.

quote:I disagree. I think they have much better chemistry than Oliver and Felicity.
Part of the problem is that Katie Cassidy and Stephen Amell just dont have the easy chemistry together that they share with the rest of the cast

I liked Constantine's reaction to the mention of Darkh. He was basically like, "frick that, I'm out".
Posted on 11/6/15 at 7:08 am to UMRealist
My only problem with that theory is that they would have to explain a lot of shite like how he could leave his family (remember his wife and kid were in season 1) and how he goes from being targeted by HIVE to being a member.
Only way I see it being plausible is if HIVE did infact want him dead, Deadshot nearly kills him but ARGUS saves him, gives him a new face and identity and sends him under deep cover with promises to keep his family safe.
I want it to be right though just for the hilarious conversation they have to have after everythings said and done.
"Hey John, hope you were looking out for my family while I was gone"
"Yeaaaaa about that...I kinda plowed your wife"
